Hi @walt.farrell, thanks for your reply. The image layer is missing in Affinity Photo for some reason, but it is there in Pixelmator. See screenshots to see the layer missing. VERY weird! I really don't like working in Pixelmator because I am used to Affinity products, but this is a real problem because I can't do anything. Thanks!

This is the first time I am running into this problem where I do NOT see photos in the PSD file (see screenshot) in Affinity Photo. In my screenshot, the photos need to be where the transparent parts are. At first, I thought something is wrong with the PSD or that the images were linked, but then I opened it in Pixelmator (I don't have Photoshop installed), and I see that the photos are there (see second screenshot). So, I guess this is an Affinity problem, probably with the newest version of Photoshop files. Here is my system info: Affinity Photo v1.9.2 Mac OS v11.2.3 Any help is appreciated. Thanks! Alex

Plus one! I am on Mac OS 10.15.3 and Affinity Designer 1.8.1 and I am experiencing the same issue. I have some PDF reports due in a couple of days that contain a lot of hyperlinks, and I obviously can't do them now because the hyperlinks do not work. Hopefully Affinity fixes this in a couple of days.

What happened to the hyperlinks in this new v1.8.1? I have hyperlinks text in my documents, and before this version whenever I would export my document to PDF, all of those hyperlinks became clickable. Now, the PDF seems flat, even the text is not selectable at all (before it was), and the links text are not clickable hyperlinks. It seems like the PDF pages are 100% images. I did check the "Include hyperlinks" option in the Save as PDF settings, so that is not it. I've ditched Adobe for Affinity years ago, and this was absolutely essential for me. Not having this is a major problem. Please help! Thanks! Alex

I have both Affinity Photo and Designer on my Mac desktop and laptop. I know that there is no sync for preferences and panels, but I have no problem to transfer them manually. So, my question is, in which folder do Affinity Photo and Designer keep their preferences and panel info on a Mac? I guess I could just copy them from one computer to another? Thanks!

Yes I can paste into TextEdit and Pages. But those programs also support formatting of the text, they are not plain text editors. I just tested with Brackets too, which is also a text editor like Sublime Text, and it doesn't work in Brackets either. Both SublimeText and Brackets are plain text editors. It seems like the copied text carries some formatting information with it which can not be pasted into these plain text editors.

I doubt it is a bug with SublimeText. I think that you misunderstood me about Photoshop and Illustrator. I said that when I copy text from Photoshop and Illustrator and I paste it into SublimeText, it works fine. But, when I copy from AD and paste to SublimeText, it doesn't work..

I am doing exactly what I told you before, and AD is of course still running. I am however using SublimeText 3, the latest build, not v2. http://www.sublimetext.com/3

I'd like to know this too because sometimes I need two different elements to have the same gradient/fill/stroke. Is there a way to copy this to a different element like in Illustrator when you use the eye dropper?

I am using the text tool (the A icon). I select the text that I want to copy with it, I copy it, and when I paste into SublimeText, nothing happens.

I encountered a very weird thing in Affinity Designer. Many times I have text in my designs, and I copy-paste that text when I am creating the HTML files with SublimeText. It works fine with photoshop and illustrator, but for some reason it doesn't work with AD. The proble, is that when I copy text in AD, and then try to paste that text in SublimeText, it doesn't work (doesn't paste the text). It is VERY weird! Am I doing something wrong, or is this a bug of some kind?
