    Did this ever get figured out? i too have the same problem. I made a map with an invitation on it , looked great , when i exported to print , it exported a file 47"x32" when the card i designed was 5x7 , it was importing everything outside of the cropped portion of the map. Any ideas?

    aaaaahhh i understand , thank you sooo much for your help Reglico. is there anyway to make the space in between the outside lines a specific value? As i mentioned i need the border to be exactly 0.5'' out from the original outline. 0.5'' is the ''seam allowance"

    reglico thank you so much for your help please forgive me for my ignorance , i couldn't follow your directions , i have a shape with a thick stroke but i dont understand what you meant by , "contour, "Layer", "Expand Stroke", reverse the colors and adjust the thickness of the lines."

    Well damn my bad i think i found it, but i doesn't seem to do anything. I'm trying to have the text be the color(s) of the background, is that possible?

    2 - change the blend mode of the text to erase (the drop down on the top of the layers panel). I assume im just being super stupid, but with the description you left for step 2 i cant understand what drop down you're referring to. When i click the drop down in the layers panel i get one option which is AUTO-SCROLL.
