  1. Again, thanks and sorry for the late reply. I attached a sample Canon .CR3 file. IMG_9167.CR3
  2. Thanks for the support guys. Sorry about taking so long to get back here. I just downloaded version 2.0.4 and it is somewhat fixed. The .HEIC iPhone pics display correctly. CR3 Canon pics display the time correctly when choosing the "Detail" tab but in the EXIF tab, display 1 hour later than they should. Other apps like Preview and Digital Photo Professional 4 display the Date Shot correctly. I'm not sure if this could be related to daylight saving time. IMG_9167.CR3
  3. Not sure if this is a bug or not, but I can't figure out how to fix it. This happens for .CR3 raw files and for iPhone photos in Affinity Photo 2, on a Mac. My location is Australia. When I display the EXIF data, the "Date Shot" gives the correct date, but the time is 9 hours prior to the actual time the photo was taken. So a photo I shot at 2:47pm displays as being shot at 5:47am in Affinity Photo. If I check the EXIF data of the photos in say "Preview" they display correctly. Is there a location preference or some other setting that could be causing this?
  4. Thanks Tom. I would always by Adobe terms and conditions. Thanks for the info.
  5. Seems to me that the only way to get the Adobe LCPs is to instal an Adobe product. I tried to install Adobe DNG Converter but my system isn't new enough (10.13.6) and I can't update it without losing some important software functionality. Do you know of any other way to get hold of the latest lens correction profiles?
  6. Thanks Garry. I will re-think my approach on this. Perhaps I need to just stick to PNG format or change the way I’m creating a 3D effect. Shutterstock and Adobe do allow PNG files, so I might look into effects on a transparent background..
  7. Thanks Garry. I'm trying to create a vector only file for upload to Shutterstock and Adobe stock image services. I'm trying to export 3D text as curves with a clipped background pattern done completely as vectors, rather than a background from a jpeg. When I export in a vector format (SVG or EPS) where I turn off rasterising, the result is a very flat image. Adobe and Shutterstock won't allow vectors that contain rasterised elements. The sort of effect I'm trying to make is in the attached image but without rasterising it results in the very flat looking version.
  8. I am wondering whether it is possible to export vector graphics from Affinity Designer with 3D effects as purely vectors. My experiments with this seem to indicate that those 3D effects always get rasterised on export. Is that the case? Whenever I export without rasterising being applied, the resulting file loses all 3d effects.
  9. I know this is a very late answer, but I only began thinking about this yesterday. Make a blank document in the desktop version and import the palette as a document one. Save the document containing the palette as a template with an appropriate name based on the palette name. Open from template in the iPad version then alter the Document Setup to suit. Your palette is now available. Use "Place" to add images rather than "Open". I know its a workaround, but is much faster than adding colours to a palette manually.
