  1. I think this is an improvement to the current transformation tool. If you want to implement this i advice you to keep the current transform dock and use this as the advanced version of it. I think it's pretty straightforward. A is Area. I don't expect AD to be able to show area for every vector shape (integrating function is pretty hard). I do think that we should be able of object that is available in the shape builder tool or if can't at least it should be able to show polygon area. D is for dilatation. It's scaling, basically. The dilatation point is currently known in AD as "rotation centre". But, you can't specify the location of the rotation centre currently. Why you should implement this? To distant yourself from Ai even more. Transform Improvements.afdesign
  2. When i want to swap object position, i need to open notepad, copy the x y coordinate, twice. It would be elpful if i can just select 2 object, RMB, and there is a button that let me swap them easily.
  3. The third one is already implemented in the 1.7 version. Which will be out (i presume) in the end of this year. There is already a video sneak peeks about it on the sneak peeks thread.
  4. I'm concerned at the possibility of Serif hiding a few tricks up their sleeve. If they do, it's fine. If they do, there should be a discrepancy between their development time (November 2017 - November 2018) and the feature that they show in this thread here.
  5. Fair enough, maybe you can try it someday. How hard is it tho? Will you need to implement a whole new thing to the software?
  6. Taking a blind guess here but I think the most right of the toolbar is a feature that enable us to set our own reflection axis when flipping an object.
  7. Illustrator doesn't have this so if you implement this you can dab on them. Is that a valid argument?
  8. Guys! I think I know why Serif put very high priority on grid. You can' spell "Designer" without "grid". I figured it out guys!
  9. Yes, they are polygon. I mention them separately because in the previous sentence I mention symmetrical polygon instead of just polygon.
  10. Rectangle is an asymmetrical square. And square is a polygon.
  11. IMO, Affinity should have that for symmetrical polygon, circle. And some asymmetrical polyon (rectangle, arbitrary triangle)
  12. Also, I wonder what is the toolbar on the most right? Hmmmmmmmmmmm.
  13. Is this 1.7? In United Kingdom, the feature is done even before you requested it, apparently. Anyway, props to being able to implement this!
  14. This is my suggestion on grid creation. I wanted to make an adventure time style hands. I already made the finger and the arm. I want to make multiple finger that is parallel to each other. I need the help of a grid to do such thing. But oh no, i didn't know the angle of the straight path of the arm! What should I do? Feature suggestion : I should be able to make a grid from a selected path (which should be straight). By clicking RMB and press "make quick grid".
  15. I can see the uncolored pixel. Is it "expand selection" (that exist in goddamn firealpaca) that you need?
  16. What do you mean by tangent? Can you explain, please?
  17. DaVinci Resolve and Fusion have a true support on Affinity files format.
  18. +1 to this. I use AD with Moho and I would like to see more vector SVG for better integration.
  19. Affinity Designer and Photo have been complimented of being fast, so I'm sure that Affinity Publisher will too.
