Hi Mark, This was generated at 20.46 on 19/02/2018. Can you let me know if it's NOT what you need and I'll have another go.

I have just held down Ctrl while opening the program and got this. Don't know if it tells you much, but here it is just in case.

No Mark, nothing at all. It simply disappears from the screen.

Appreciate the quick release of this beta, unfortunately (for me) it seems to be behaving the same as the previous one. I can open a photo only by dragging it into the program, but any attempt at an edit and the program promptly closes without warning. On right the hand panels I can click on Layers, adjustments, effects, brushes etc. but any further clicks will close the program.

Alignment working properly here as well.
