  1. You'll have to wait sir. Can't have folks in Australia and other Eastern parts taunting the folks in the West.
  2. Hi DarkClown, I think it's because of the impatient among us that Serif will not be giving a rough timeline of when to expect things. I'm sure you will remember the unjust (in my opinion) critcism they received concerning timescales around the release of Publisher. My guess is that the first we'll know about it, is when the beta is released.
  3. Hi Rick After downloading the 604 beta the problem persisted, however your suggestion did the trick. Your help is much appreciated.
  4. Thanks for the responses. Just tried again with a pixel layer. As soon as the rectangle layer is moved, it's an instant freeze. No idea if a reinstall would help, but will try anyway.
  5. Hi In the latest beta, the program freezes after dragging a shape layer either above or below an image layer. In this case a rectangle has been dragged below the image layer. Earlier test also froze when dragging a shape above the image layer. Task manager closes the program easily enough. Regards Robert
  6. If you right click on the symbol, you can customise the toolbar. A quick drag will move the symbol where you want.
  7. Is it set to zoom in Edit > Preferences > Tools?

    These are splendid. Many thanks.
  9. The link took me to a site which was written in a language unfamiliar to me. It could almost have been German for all I know. Doesn't the world know that the British don't do foreign languages? Oh no, we expect everyone else to learn English instead. I'm sure the pages are full of good information, but as I was too lazy to learn another language, I'll just live the rest of my life in ignorance.
  10. You can also have it on permanent display by going to View > Customise Toolbar and dragging the icon northwards.
  11. I am so relieved to know this. It could save up to half second on what might be a busy day.
  12. Jolly good show. Everything tried so far has worked without issue. I'm no multi linguist, but my guess is that @Wikinger is quite pleased as well.
  13. All is working well again. Thanks to both @Mark Ingram and @Gnobelix for your help.
  14. That's interesting. Didn't think the graphics tablet would be useable. Thanks. Will try that later.
  15. Super news. Mark, if still relevant, Huion driver version number is 6.1.7600.16385. I don't have Windows Ink enabled. Thanks for the suggestions which helped get us there. Not too fussed about the tablet, but some probably will be.
  16. Certainly seems to be the culprit. I'd never have tried it if you hadn't asked. Just done a very quick edit and all was fine. I can get the driver version number but will have to Google Windows Ink.
  17. Hey Mark, just pulled out the tablet from the USB slot and the program has responded. Obviously haven't tried to edit anything yet, but I can now open a photo by clicking the File button.
  18. Opened the latest beta again and tapped on "File" with a pen. I can upload the crash report if you'd like to see it.
