  1. Hi @Alfred thank you. For some reason I didn’t see the follow! I’ve always found it fascinating how easy it is to miss stuff staring you in the face on a screen. It’s not just me - I’ve seen others doing it when I’ve been showing them how to do stuff. Hi @DM1. Thank you. What it was, was that the placed photo was so big, when I’d chosen the move tool (which I did before posting here), the nodules were off screen. Zooming out before choosing the move tool this time, they appeared! So thanks for the pointer - it helped. Much appreciated I understand the philosophy of personas btw, and I have been watching quite a few of the vids. It’s a good idea and different to what I’m used to. There are times however when a simple task spans two personas and I get involved in a lot of back and forth which becomes a bit irritating. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a good app, though I’m concerned I’ve had two occasions where it’s locked me out of a file so far... bit buggy. It’s like the old days - when buggy software was all there was!
  2. Please note I forgot to tick the be notified of responses and can’t find where or how to do this retrospectively. I will return to check for an y help given, but it may mean it appears that I’m not interested - I am. ive now set the default on my profile. However, I imagine it won’t retrospectively pick this one up.
  3. Hi, thanks for dropping by. How do I select a placed image? I want to resize it down just a smidge... see attached.
  4. Hi DM1 Thanks for clarifying. Yes I had worked that out. However, it is possible to destructively crop, if you Flatten after doing so. Obviously this looses any layers, so when in your workflow you crop needs planning.
  5. Thanks for replying, though I’m not sure if you’re asking a question. Of course I don’t know whether cropping is always defaulted to non destructive in AF. If it is, then how do I ‘apply’ the crop in a destructive way?
  6. Hi Is this expected behaviour? I opened an image and cropped it. Then saw that the Histogram dimensions do not update to the new dimensions. (See attached).
  7. Thanks Callum, Alfred. Neat way to add a line to a rectangle when you know how Alfred so thanks for the heads up on that. I’m not confused by the circles changing places - that tells me which one AF is expecting me to specify. It’s what they tell me about how the colours have been applied that’s got me feeling brain ache. So I set too and: Applied fill (none) + applied line. Applied fill + applied line applied fill + last used line colour..... keh? Applied fill + applied line Applied fill + last line colour used..... ? Last fill used + applied line....... ? objects 1-3 originally created via pen tool, 4 + 5 created via rectangle tool and 6 created using brush tool. 1,2 and 4, feel clear... 3, 5 & 6, I’d appreciate explaining to me if anyone can, thank you. It’s not that it’s always the line that shows regardless of whether it’s applied while the fill always only shows what’s applied - see num 6
  8. Hi Forgive me if this is explained somewhere, but I’ve not been able to find it. I downloaded Photo for iPad a couple of weeks ago or so and have played until now. I’ve now just started to properly educate myself about this software. i hope the attached shows you what I don’t understand. There are two overlapping circles at the top left of the colour studio. What are they?
