Is this not possible in photo v2 also, and just in designer v2? How can I get it from Photo to Designer? I just have the current paste it from the photo to designer or can you use Studio link with AP and AD. I haven't use these programs in a while, so I forgot how to use them.

For some reason I did not have the image category in my brushes for P and D. I downloaded both of the tiles you attached, I tried to drag and drop them into a AP & AD. I could not find any though in the drop-down of the brushes. The image brushes finally opened up as pictures now in Layers. Karen I'm supposed to put that into my drop-down list somehow.

I don't understand how or where you found the premade chain in AD. can you show me how to get it

Thank you for explaining. I don't know if I need to write this as a new question in a new section or not, but I was wondering if you could please tell me the difference between a layer and a pixel layer in Affinity Designer then?

I'm trying to use tutorial, what painting with the mixer I only get my hug instead of the Colors from the photo. What am I doing wrong?

I always have a problem by accidentally rotating the canvas among other things. I keep having to reset the canvas View> reset rotation. Is there anyway to lock the rotation so it doesn't move by the touchpad?

Thank you for replying to me. I have tried what you said, by decreasing the brush size, but it still copies parts of the building that is outside my selection area. Kind a like what the clone brush tool is supposed to do. As for question two of my post, it's kind of hard to see by the photo, but if you zoom in to the top corner of it. You can see the checkerboard background coming through the blue portion. It's like my brush is set to a lower opacity.

I have a few questions I was wondering if someone could help me with. I've been having some trouble with affinity photo and can't figure out the answer to this. 1. As you can see in the video below, when I am using the inpaintng brush tool inside a selection, when painting over the section that I want to covered, it fills in the area with another area of the picture that's nowhere near the area I want to. I can't figure out why this is happening. All my settings are reset. 2. My second question is, in the selected area in the photo provided, on the edge of the photo, the inpainting brush took out what I wanted and replaced it with sky, but left part of it translucent so you can see the checkered board behind it. This is happened before when using tools like the eraser for me. If anybody could help me in any of these questions that would be awesome thank you. Inpainting.mov

What is the difference between normal guides and column guides then?

I don't understand why the guides are always blue. When you go to View> Guides Manager, there is an option to change the color of the guides, but when you change that to different color however, they still only default to the color blue. Anybody know why this is?

I have this panorama I took of the Budweiser Clydesdale horses. When I came to the wagon portion of the photo, I must have bumped the camera because it is uneven. I have a clearer picture of the wagon I want to put in its place. Because of the angle I shot the single photo, it does not line up correctly with the panoramic. I was trying to use the video tutorial listed above, but that did not align them correctly. Can anyone help me or show me how to do this? Photos are too big for me to attach.

Hi, I'm new to using this software, and am having some trouble with making a shadow. I got the image of what I want in a group along with all the parts I used to make it. I duplicated the layer group, but when I go up to click the geometry toolbar, it is grayed out. Do you have an idea of what I am doing wrong? Do I have to merge/rasterize all my layers in the group first?

Didn't understand my way around the software when I asked this.

I am wanting to know the same. Every time I save, its always a .afphoto file. I want to upload a photo I edit to FB and after hitting {CTRL+S}, it won't overwrite it.
