    Hi marcymurli,
This thread contains video tutorials for Affinity Photo (check the title of the thread). The Official Video Tutorials for Designer is the one Ken Cope pointed out in his reply above.
For info about the Vector Crop Tool in Designer check this link.

marcymurli reacted to FMA in How to blend multiple images?
I've read similar questions to this, but my question refers to blending side by side images together, and/or blending one or more images onto a background (not using blending modes). In other words, blending the edges with the other photo or background

For instance in Photoshop, you use the gradient tool (black to transparent) to blend all edges of one photo that you have placed onto another photo to blend the edges seamlessly.

I haven't found a good way to do this with Affinity Photo or Design.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi Marymurli,
The Affinity Designer tutorial are here:
and the Vimeo channel can be found here: https://vimeo.com/channels/affinitydesigner but there are no tutorials on the crop tool. However, there are 4 results for 'crop' when using the inbuilt Help.

    Hi marcymurli,
    Welcome to Affinity Forums
Are you sure you are using the same program as in the Video (Affinity Photo)? From your description seems you are using Affinity Designer: the Crop Tool here is object based rather than document based (as in Affinity Photo). It also doesn't have context toolbar options. You should only see eight small rectangular handles around the bounding box of the selected object on canvas which you can drag to crop the object in-place.

Affinity Photo and Affinity Designer are two different programs: the first is for RAW conversion/development & photo editing (similar to Photoshop), while the second is a mixed vector/raster design tool (similar to Illustrator).

    Hi stinkykong,
    Welcome to Affinity Forums
Thanks for your feedback. The Crop Tool is already being rewritten and will include both crop and resampling in one operation besides other modes/improvements. There's still no eta but it will come with a future update. Bear with use while we work on it.
