  1. Hi Lee, Thanks for the reply thats what my own conclusion was finally. Coming from a video background where we use proxies and switch them out at the end I was wondering if it could be done here! Could that be a potential useful feature request do you think? I guess it would be like a ''live document''.
  2. I'm working in AD and drag in a pdf/image, and add design work on top. I am then sent a new updated pdf/image with same name/specs. Is it possible to automatically replace the old image/pdf file used in AD with the new file keeping the overlaid design in place? Thanks!
  3. Thanks. I searched the forum and all beforehand.... ! My bad
  4. So I watched the video tutorial on reducing noise through stacking and have a question. How many images is needed for optimal results? I noticed in the video quite a large number of images was used. I tried experimenting myself with a couple of images. I stacked 3 or 4 but couldn't see much of a difference. So I'm assuming there is a ballpark number of pictures one would need to have in order to get noticeable denoising results? Obviously the more the better...but that isn't always practical. e.g. at least 10 or something? Thanks
  5. Actually, that reminds me I would love if we could do that with text size in the text tool - hover over the number and click + drag. Selecting font size from the dropdown or typing it in just doesn't quite have the same feel to it.
  6. Hi, I did a quick search of the forums so forgive me if this has already been asked! Just wondering is it currently/would it be possible to enable the adjusting of values via a trackpad slide? Example: One wishes to change the opacity of a layer. Click the drop down arrow beside opacity and hover your cursor over the lever?(see attached pic). Then simply slide two fingers on your track pad. Sliding down could decrease the opacity percentage, sliding up could increase it. This could even be implemented to other sliders too such a HSL, Vibrance maybe even levels etc... I first came across this behaviour using another program and I have to say when you get used to it, it can make adjustments quite intuitive.
  7. +1 for non destructive dodge and burn please! The above suggestions all work well and there are many other variations e.g. painting on colour with brush, curve masks etc.. but for example if you could just select the burn tool and start burning immediately on a an adjustment layer automatically it would be more efficient, not to mention time saving!
