  1. Oh. That bug already almost approaches it's 2 year anniversary. Richt clicking on the toolbar doesn't do anything on the Mac at all, so I am presuming that this doesn't work in Mac or it has sicne been removed. The unfortunate thing is that resetting the brush settings don't work when using the "More" context toolbar. So I a stuck with a (unfortunately) very usesless brush,

    Brush won't reset to default

Also experiencing this bug. Once the brush is changed it can NOT be reset. Using the Reset button in this Dialog doesn't do anything. Using Preferences > Miscellaneous > Reset Brushes doesn't help Restarting the application doesn't help. Mac 10.13.3 Beta (17D29a) Affinity Photo 1.6.6
  3. The version I was linking to the original post was likely a pirated version. I removed it. > Current version of this font is 5.01 Yes. According to https://www.microsoft.com/typography/fonts/font.aspx?FMID=2160 it is included in Windows 7,8, Vista though, so people on those machines that want to use it can't because of the bug. The font can be purchased at https://www.fonts.com/font/microsoft-corporation/nyala The license is here: https://www.fonts.com/font/microsoft-corporation/nyala/licenses# > 6. Alterations to Font Software. You may not alter Font Software for the purpose of adding any functionality that such Font Software did not have when delivered to you by Monotype. If the Font Software contains embedding bits that indicate that the Font Software is only authorized for certain purposes, you may not change or alter the embedding bits. So I guess, since I would be removing a feature and changing how it could be embedded in other software it should be fine. Would editing the feature in a font editor, result in a normal operating typeface?
  4. How would I go about disabling that feature in the font?
  5. 1. Create new Document. Print A4. 2. Create new text box with width 40 mm 3. Download, install Nyala font from ... (edit: removed the link, as source might be unlicensed ) 4. Set font of box to Nyala, 12pt 5. Paste "I guess, we decided that a mystery is more intriguing" 6. Crash. You can also just start typing. It will crash on linebreak. Workaround for me: Use another font. It might be a problem with the font itself but I thought I rather report. Mac 10.13.3 Beta (17D29a) Affinity Designer 1.6.0
