  1. So you opened Powershell (I ran it as Administrator), changed to the directory you saved the .msix file, and typed this?: add-appxpackage .\affinity-photo-2.0.0.msix add-appxpackage .\affinity-designer-2.0.0.msix add-appxpackage .\affinity-publisher-2.0.0.msix
  2. I did find a way to make it work. Not sure the ramifications, but they're (all three programs) installed and working. https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/msix/how-to-install-msix-package-on-windows-build-17692/m-p/206498
  3. Hate to answer my own question, but I found a way that worked to install them: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/msix/how-to-install-msix-package-on-windows-build-17692/m-p/206498 Not sure the ramifications of this way, but it worked for me for all three packages. Hopefully it will work for others.
  4. There are multiple ways to install programs on Windows. .exe, .msi, and .msix (new one to me). So it SHOULD work, but for some reason it's not working for quite a few of us.
  5. This is just saying it needs an newer version of Win10. If you press the Windows + R keys then type Winver in the dialogue box that comes up it should say 2004 or later (2004, 20H2, 21H1, 21H2). If it doesn't, you'll have to upgrade to that minor version. You won't need Windows 11 to run it.
  6. When I click on the any of the V2 .msix files I get this error (this one is for Photo). I'm not familiar with .msix installer files and after some Google searching haven't found anything useful.
  7. Ok, good. I agree, that seems to be the way most other programs do it and it's good GUI practices, I'd think.
  8. Is it just me? I have multiple image tabs open in affinity photo (Workspace in Normal Mode). When I grab a tab to move the image left or right in the stack of images, I can rearrange the tabs accordingly unless I slip slightly up or down with the mouse. This will cause Photo to display a translucent blue rectangle signifying it will re-dock the image on the right side of the stack of images. Is this how it's supposed to work? It's seems almost every other program I use allows you to insert the image back into the stack by moving it between two tabs (in some programs an arrow shows where it will be inserted, Chrome and Firefox are examples). Using a pen, I have enough finite motor skills to get it two or three tabs over (sometimes four!), but if I'm slightly off it gives me no option other than to start the arranging process over. Pretty frustrated with five or six images open... Can this be fixed? thanks!
