ietz reacted to MEB in Color wheel size
Hi tomas.chmelir,
Welcome to Affinity Forums :)
Double click the foreground/background colour switcher in the Colour panel to open the Colour Chooser dialog then click on the dropdown on the top right and select HSL Colour Wheel to access a larger colour wheel.

Hi, Is there something new in this subject?
I would like to use some Android and Windows 10 UI / Assets as well :)
Maybe You could recommend some UI / Mokaps to use on Affinity?
Regards,
Lukas

I've had a look and couldn't find this anywhere, so apologies if this is a duplicate post but I notice that you have default iOS assets in Affinity Designer, but I couldn't find any Android ones. I've looked high and low and can't find anything similar on the web (can anyone point me to any?) so it'd be really good to have these in there. I'm sure I can't be the only person trying to design for Android and facing the situation of having to do everything from scratch!
Thank you!

ietz reacted to sorin.jurcut in UI Templates
I've just gotten Affinity and the biggest thing I'm missing from sketch, and kind to think of it, pretty much the only thing holding me back from switching over completely is the lack of a ui template built into the app.
You could work than into a UI Design persona, which would then allow for this to show up in the file menu. Something like New from Template > iOS UI Template, iOS Icon Template, Android UI Template, Android icon template.
What I'd also love for it to do is allow for script-supported batch processing. Ideally javascript, but I'd be ok with python too.
Also, if you'd throw in a free/purchaseable viewer for iOS and Android, that would be sweet ! Something to allow for the design to be mirror-able to the phone so I could check out the design live. Ideally that client would incorporate some of Bjango's cool features like being able to colorproof for all 4 types of colorblindness and ideally short-sighted-ness too.
Keep rocking guys !! :D

In addition, to normal designing for Android Platrform, it need to add support for Density-independent pixels (dp) and Scaleable pixels (sp) for text.
Android useds 'dp' instead of 'pt' from iOS.
Offitial documentation from Material Designs specs here:
https://material.io/guidelines/layout/units-measurements.html#units-measurements-density-independent-pixels-dp
https://material.io/guidelines/layout/units-measurements.html#units-measurements-scaleable-pixels-sp
'dp' calculates in that way:
screen density = screen width (or height) in pixels / screen width (or height) in inches
dp = (width in pixels * 160) / screen density
Many thanks!
