  1. Hi, Slightly confused here. Making masks based on hair selections - created 'new layer with mask' and the like, tried a few variations. Free mask, to 'restore' the layer back to the unmasked version, but... The now unmasked layer has completely destroyed and messy edges around where the mask use to be? I'm guessing that this is as designed, and something that AF does in order to smooth the pixels where the masking occurs? Could anyone confirm this, and is there an easy way to get the original lay back, without the modified edges? Thanks! Wayne
  2. Thanks from me too. Been wondering about this for a while!
  3. Hello. Any chance we could have a few darker options for the transparent background's checker board shade please? I work quite a lot with pure white image with alphas and the current bright checkerboard is too close to white for it to be a completely comfortable experience right now. Thnks! Wayne
  4. +1 for me please! I'd like this for choosing fonts. Those blue handles are useful, but sometime you just want them gone for a minute. I know holding spacebar helps, but this isn't possible when auditioning fonts or effects.
  5. Thanks Paulo! Also, as super easy way to install them is to just drag and drop the unzipped file straight onto the AD icon in your dock!
  6. +1 please. Finding font size adjustments pretty hit and miss right now!
  7. Thanks guys, but the large offensive rectangle is currently the only snapping candidate, and because it is covering the whole page, it appears to be blocking everything else from becoming a candidate. I've finally resorted to simply moving it out of the way - unfortunately, although I am now able to add more candidate, and as you say, remove the offending from the list, I am still unable to make the circle that I actually want to snap to a candidate D:
  8. My problem is that I want to Unmake an object snappable! I have a large rectangle at the back of my scene that has inadvertently become a snapping candidate and is now preventing the objects that I actually want to snap to, in the foreground, from becoming snapping candidates :L I have tried 'only snap to visible objects' and hiding the offending layer, but I just can't get this rectangle to shut up and leave me alone! So, my question is this - is there anything I can to do clear the snapping candidates? Thanks Wayne
  9. +1, yes please. Must have. I'm sure you'll put it in soon, and thank you in advance for that, but for now, I'm going to sound a bit shirty, for which I apologise, also in advance!... But, think of it like this - who are 'you' to tell 'us' what aspect ratio we need our images at???! Looking awesome though - you're true trailblazers!! oh, and PS. I was looking forward to giving the beta a good look tonight, whilst editing some stuff, but am now going to have to go back to Pixelmator because I need to do a load of cropping and, guess what?... the size I need to crop to isn't on the list!
  10. Hi Boris, this is just a Mac thing, which I hate. I wish developers 'could' do something about it, but I'm really not sure if they can - it's 'as designed' by Apple, so they've surely made it super difficult for individual devs to hack into this behaviour on a 'per app' basis. I'm still hoping and praying that some bedroom hacker will make a fix for this so that we can change the behaviour on a system level, for all apps at full screen. It's the most stupid thing about full screen in my opinion and makes me use the feature far less than I would otherwise. Still, while we're here, Affinity dudes - is there anything you, or anyone can do to change this flaw? Thanks Wayne
