  1. Hello Dan C. I had recently clean-installed everything on my mac, but had unwittingly installed V1 Affinity apps. I just installed the V2 apps and it everything is working as it should. Thanks!

  3. I am suddenly unable to open a file I last worked on in 2020. Instead, I'm met with the message in the screenshot.
  4. I would love to be able to drag any image (jpg, png, tiff, etc.) from DevonThink 3 into an open Affinity Photo, Designer, or Publisher project without a text layer being created instead of the expected image layer. If I drag an image from DevonThink 3 into any of the above mentioned Affinity apps in order to create a new project from that image, it works just fine. However, when I try to drag subsequent images into that project, a text layer is created instead of an image layer. Yes, copy and paste is a work around (sigh), but in my workflow, I am used to dragging images from DevonThink 3 into any other editing apps without issue. It seems like this should be an easy tweak, considering the initial image dragged to create a new Affinty project works fine.
  5. Yup, responded to your post. Copy and paste does work, thanks. I was responding to R C-R's post about the image files I've tried.
  6. I can't drag JPEG, PNG, BMP, or TIF. Those are the only ones I've tried. They produce empty frame text when dragged in Affinity Photo and Designer.
  7. Thanks for the quick response. I am able to drag images from DEVONthink into the following apps: Word 16.16 PowerPoint 16.16 Apple Motion 5.4.1 Hype 3 Logoist 3 Gimp 2.10 PhotoShop CC It would be great, in my workflow, to be able to do the same with Affinity Photo and Designer. 8. I've recently begun using DEVONthink Pro Office as my image database. Upon trying to drag any image files (png, jpg, gif, etc.) into Affinity Photo 1.6.7 from DEVONthink I found that I could not do this easily. Instead of the dragged image creating a new pixel layer in my project, a new text frame layer was created instead with no sign of the image. So, (1) I have to drag the image out of DEVONthink onto my desktop and then, (2) drag it into my Affinity Photo project. This should be a one-step process.
