Sure, I can appreciate that. The only reason I ever click off an object is because of the outline of the object which is distracting especially when trying to view a design change. I totally get that it is considered an action, just something I'm not used to having come from Photoshop and Fireworks. I know not to do it now though :-) What is good and better in Affinity is I can copy an object, then go back to how it was previously and paste it so I can compare that way. Something I couldn't do in Fireworks, not sure about Photoshop.

That's a shame as it doesn't work like that in photoshop or fireworks . To click off an object to an empty space is not an action as such. Ah well. Thanks for clarifying it.

Hi - Is there a way to preview how the slices will look prior to exporting them? Also - is there a way to change the preferences so that a 'mouse click' doesn't cancel out redo and undo. For instance if I am undoing something but click the mouse to remove the layer highlight it prevents me from being able to redo something which is very annoying. The snapping works much better in this new version btw and the grid keeps it's proportion when zooming. Thanks. J.

Hi - Thanks for the reply. No live filters - I had a couple of layers with brightness, I'm not sure if that's a live filter? When I save a layer as a jpg the file size is fine, however the afdesign file is 1.84 gig. I hope this helps. J

Hi - I opened 20 pics into designer which have a combined file size of 350mb. After saving the document its 1.84 Gig! The resolution is 72dpi and the dimensions are only 1200 pixels x 250 pixels so not that big. I dont have history saving on and I tried opening the file in photo and making some changes then saving and its the same. Any ideas? Thanks, Jared.

Hi - I just came across this as I've been trying to figure out how to adjust just one layer and not all of them. I can get it working by sliding the adjustment like a mask, however I can't find where to set the option so it does this by default?
