Hi, I'm trying to export a file (73 MB) from Designer to a Psd file. I need to retain editability - when I select the correct preset, the 'Estimated File Size' box keeps saying 'Calculating...' but doesn't finish calculating. It allows me to click on the Export button, and then the window disappears but nothing happens. Can anyone suggest a solution? Thanks

Thanks - that's really helpful I have asked her what software she is using to open it, so hopefully she will figure it out. Just had me panicked for moment that all the client files I've ever sent weren't transparent when they needed to be! Thank you

Hi, I've created a vector simple icon design for a client in AD, and when saving the logo files for them the EPS is showing as a white background once saved. As I have AD I can open and turn the background transparent again, but she cannot as she doesn't have the software, and needs a transparent background for sending to printers. Please can you advise? Finally sorted it - seems that if I place the image photo as opposed to copy and pasting the photo from an opened file, it works! Thanks again for your help, Rachel

Ok thanks - do you know why it would be saving as that? Obviously the photo is pixel, but the number says 'curves'? Will try your suggestion and let you know how it turns out... Thanks for your help :)

PS I know they're big files, so wondered if that was affecting the tool function, but I downsized it and it still wasn't working....

Yes absolutely - thank you - I'll also upload one I did last week which was fine... The file: 'F&H_Six' is the one that's not working, and the 'F&H_Five' is the one that is fine!

Thanks both - tried both these things and still not working! It's still only giving me the divide option.... Just don't understand as I've done this umpteen times in the past and never had an issue - have also restarted Affinity and my mac and it's made no difference! :(

Or if I select manually, just the divide option appears, as attached...

Hi, I'm creating images using the subtract tool, a shape over a photo - I created some last week, no problem at all, and now trying to do exactly the same thing, but when I select both items, the subtract tool option isn't available... I'm not doing anything different than last time? I can't attach the files here as they're over the 20MB limit. The tool is working with plain shapes, just not the photos.... Any help appreciated! Thanks
