  1. Welcome to the Forums! If your fabric swatches are each a solid color then you can add them to a palette, by first taking a picture of each, transfering it to your computer, then clicking on the Swatches Panel hamburger menu, and choosing Create Palette From Image. This will permit you to place your image, choose the number of colors, and then click Create. If you want that swatch/palette to be available for every document you create, choose Application in the next panel that shows the colors (5 are the minimum). If your fabric swatches contain prints/stripes/etc. you will be far better off to create your swatches as Styles. In this case, take your picture, then place it in a Photo/Designer/Publisher new document, Export it as a PNG file>Selection Only, then delete the image from your document. Now drag a rectangle shape onto your canvas (no need to color it) then select your Gradient tool and on the Context Toolbar in the Type box, choose Bitmap. Locate your saved PNG file, select that; your swatch image will fill the rectangle. With that layer highlighted, go to the Styles Panel (if you don't have that on your desktop, go up to WINDOW on your Menu bar and be sure that Styles has a checkmark beside it). Click on the Styles Panel little hamburger icon, and choose Add New Category. Give it a name, then with that blank category now showing in your Styles panel, and the layer still highlighted, choose Add Style From Selection. You will now find a little colored icon in that category. I have attached a video to show how this is done. Please wait to see the new style icon appear. The video appears to stop, but the little coloured "beachball" was actually going and it took a bit of time for the new style to appear. Probably because I didn't bother to create a new category and just let the style go into the v.1.6 default category. Your fabric swatch can now be used on any shape, or text. Just select the text or shape with the Move Tool and click on the little Styles icon in your category and it will automatically fill your selection. I hope this helps! 2. There is nothing the matter with my eyesight, and I have a 24” screen. Even so, spending many hours per day in front of it, I wish I could SEE those little thumbnails (even set to Large) on the Layers panel in V2 well enough to figure out all the new bells and whistles they contain without almost pressing my nose to the display. I have tried every possible slide configuration in User Preferences. V1 was — for me — more user friendly. I suspect that there are far more Light Interface users out there than people assume there are.
  3. @Gemini80 you could also click on your top-most layer, right click and choose Merge Visible. This will give you another layer on top with your image (but should be a smaller file size, I believe) which you can then use for Export>PNG>Selection only. If you click on the EXPORT Preview window you should see your entire image with a checkerboard behind it, meaning that you have a transparent background. JPG will not show this checkerboard, meaning that it will keep the white background. When you have finished your export, you can delete that top merged layer, and you will be able to ungroup your image and you will have everything back to an editable condition.
  4. @G-F-H beautiful birds! Always amazing to learn how many varieties there still exist in this world.
  5. You should be able to if your present computers are also Mac. Just log in to your account and download to the new machines. If your present computers are using Windows you would need to purchase again for the Mac versions. They are two different versions.
  6. I am going to post a link to your issue in the Publisher 2 Bugs in Windows part of the Forums. The developers will find it there. Please be patient! They will surely get it corrected!
  7. Looks as though it is an UI discrepancy. If the icons behave, then perhaps you can work with Publisher2 and StudioLink, while this discrepancy makes its way to the developers for a Windows correction. Nice that you spotted it and reported it!
  8. @MikeTO Wonderful! I have been scrounging the internet trying to find this too. With dismal results.
  9. Does the size of the Publisher icon change when you are in Publisher2 and click on the Photo 2 or Designer 2 icon?
  10. Does this dark grey outline change in color from the Publisher icon to the Designer icon if you click on Designer? Or to the Photo icon if you click Photo? Also, does the Publisher icon change size? I am on Mac, with the light UI, so I have a very pale outline. The size of the icons doesn't change but the faint grey color moves from the Publisher icon to either the Photo or the Designer icon. My User Preferences are shown below:
  11. @Struguzzi I had one of those in years of yore, but without the roof rack. Great car! Wonderful drawing! Perfect headlights!!
  12. Solved. Not a bug. Screen Recording 2022-11-15 at 15.10.32.mov
  13. Welcome to the Forums! It may be a silly question, but after you installed Photo 2 the last time, did you open a new document, and do any kind of small action, and then close it again? StudioLink requires that both Designer2 and Photo2 have been opened (“active”) and closed before Publisher2 can recognize them. This was also the case with the V1 versions of all three apps. I hope this helps.
  14. @WirlyWirly StudioLink is only functional if you have Publisher and at least one of the two other apps: Photo and Designer. If you have Publisher and Photo you can link between those two, but not Designer. If you have Publisher and Designer, but not Photo, then you can link between those two, but not Photo. You can definitely switch between Photo and Designer, however by using FILE>EDIT IN DESIGNER, or switch from Designer to Photo by FILE>EDIT IN PHOTO. Hope this will help!
  15. Actually, it was a bit odd! I closed Photo 2, then did a CTRL + Open on Photo 2, unchecked every box, and clicked Clear. Tried the freeze thing again, and you are absolutely right. 0% opacity, 50% opacity, or 100% opacity (and obviously everything in between) doesn't make a difference, and the color is a nice darker red. So @DeJeanB could you please try this remedy?
  16. @DeJeanB Seems to work on Mac. Here is a before and after. Plus a short video. The thing that fooled me was that it looked as though the Freeze tool wasn't protecting a part of the image while I was using the Liquify Push Forward tool. But when I clicked Apply it had. 17. @SPurz I have created a document in Designer V2, dragged in an asset, and changed it with the new Mesh Warp feature, then with the result highlighted, did a FILE>COPY. I can then open Designer V1, create a new, or open an existing document and FILE>PASTE. My work from V2 is there, but cannot naturally be edited in any way using the Mesh Warp feature from V2. You might try this copy/paste approach to see if it works for your purposes.
  18. On Mac, I am able to print individual pages in V2 exactly the way I print in V1. Is that what you mean by "on their own", or do you mean "side by side" on a single sheet?
  19. @Foolix The lettering in Poseidon is really elegant!!
