  1. If I understand your question, you want to make a template as a bottom layer that you can use to trace or redraw? 1. Import the image as the first layer 2. Decrease the layer's opacity to 50% or whatever suits. 3. Lock the layer. 4. Create a new layer above the template. 5. Make sure the new layer is selected and then use the appropriate tool to trace the strokes and fills of the layer below. 5. Make the template layer invisible 6. Print your new artwork RG
  2. Dear Affinity: I love everything you are doing and would willingly pay more to avoid Adobe. However, my problem with importing EPS files with AD still persists, even with the latest update. Please estimate the programmer time required for this fix and the hourly rate and I will pay for the fix if one of your programmers wishes to work a little overtime. Thanks
  3. Marcus: Thanks for the input. I have attached a zip file of the eps. It falls into the category of very old files. Rich/Cyran Diges Large Colon.zip
  4. I have attempted to purchase your course but your website and the Udemy site will not accept my credit cards (tried 3 different ones, several times) and payment through PayPal (tried once). Would you please look into this issue? Thank you. Cyran
  5. I have been unable to import Encapsulated Postscript files with AD. Currently, I am opening them and then saving them as CS6 .ai files before I can use them. Is there a workaround? I tried to attach an example file but I was informed by the post software that I am not permitted to upload this kind of file. Thank you. Cyran
