It says a lot about this feature request that so many potential customers want to create an account to add to this thread.
To all readers,
You may be pleased to hear that I understand this feature is being worked on currently, though I do not know of the exact progress.

Curious why there's not going to be hyperlinks ever added? I should be able to make a PDF with a hyperlink included.

I would like to add: if the program is going to give you the ability to justify text on both the right and left margin, auto-hyphenation is really a big deal. It feels unfinished.
p.s. It's amazing what you've done with a $50 dollar program. I bought Affinity Photo mostly just to support you efforts. I would like to forget that Adobe existss.

You can get a sense of the speed in Designer by:
Create a Pie shape. Layer/Convert to Text Frame. Edit/Insert Filler Text. Justify (so you can see where both edges are ). Resize, or adjust with the node tool. Any shape or curve can be made into a text frame. You can draw a large letter 'a', convert it to curves, convert the curve into a text frame, then fill it with text.
