  1. Going the refund and wait route for me also. They will come out with the fix right after the promotional pricing expires.....
  2. Those aliases give me the same error 'The parameter is incorrect' that I get when going through the install (over 2 dozen times now, all 3 apps) when it fails. I had someone (Lee) from support via email for a bit but he must have gone on to other issues he could resolve. About to give up and wait a few months. I thought since Affinity was making a big deal out of this 'UPGRADE' it would have been good to go. I'll be going the refund route soon.
  3. I've been using v1 for a few years, no issues. Purchased and download V2 Apps, says it installs but gives an error when launching. Cannot find the installed files anywhere. Searched the FAQ and forums to no avail .Any suggestions? I've downloaded several times
  4. after installing any of the three V2 apps, I get an error and they won't launch. When I try to launch manual, nothing happens. All of my V1 aps still run. I close them before trying to run V2.
  5. That's helpful also. Just found out that the selection you just told me about does not work when you lock the layers.
  6. Alt click worked on my sample but not on my real design. Outline view did not do it either. highlighted below is what I want to be able to select. if you can select it without going to the layer panel that would be great. Maybe I have a setting that is keeping me from doing it. See attached file. Jim redo decking.afdesign
  7. I've attached a simple file. I want to select the yellow triangle by clicking on it somehow, not by selecting it in the layers panel. My real document is a deck for my house. I have the layer structure similar to how the deck is built and I want to select one of the pieces under the other (dozens). sample JL.afdesign
  8. Continuous clicking or double clicking does nothing . I've found that the first double click drills down into the group, which them allows me to select other items in that group. Hoping to find a way below that upper group.
  9. Double click got me further down in the 'top' group. Thanks for the idea but I want to go further below
  10. For example, I have six items that are overlapping. The upper items are semi-transparent so I can see the items below. Is there a way to select the item under the upper layers other than doing it in the layers panel? I though 'alt' + click would scroll through the items but it did not. Jim
  11. When using a tool like the rectangle tool, is there a way to enter the requested dimensions in the current units rather than dragging to try to get them?
