Hi there, I'm new to Affinity and was watching some Youtube video tutorials and to me, Layers and Overlays seems to be the same thing? Can you please the difference? Thanks Nick

Hi there, I bought and installed Affinity Photo (For Windows) last week. A couple of days later I logged back in and was advised there is a newer version so I clicked on it to download and install. When it said in order to complete the installation, it had to restart the laptop which I authorised it to. but since then I keep on getting an error "An Unhandled Exception has occurred and the application cannot continue. The Crash Reporter will be displayed after the application exits. Reference....". I provided the details of the error and reference details when it prompted for it but I haven't received any replies of when it will be fixed. It's coming to a week now. My expereicne with Affinity hasn't been great. please advise how I can get this issue sorted out. Thanks Nick

Thanks both for your help. I'm not using any Apple PC or devices. I have an ASUS laptop with MS softwares. When it comes to tech I'm totally un-geek. Is there a link in Canon website I can download a converter? Or recommend any converters that currently supports it?

Hi there, I just purchased affinity and imported RAW (CR2) files but it looks like Affinity doesn't support it. The images displayed on Affinity are pinkish in colour. I'm not sure if this has anything to do with the Canon 6D Mark II I had recently bought. I wouldn't think it's the SD card because that would save what type of files we select. There's no issues importing jpeg files. Does anyone have a solution to this? Thanks in advance. Nick
