Hi, It used to be possible to copy/paste into Sketch, keeping the objects as vector. Now it just renders the pasted object as bitmap. Did something changed in Affinity or should I report it to the Sketch team? Thanks.

Hi, Im trying to design a symbol mimicking a hand made path. For this i've created a large stroke, which I then convert with "Expand Stroke". The goal was the do use the node tool to modify the resulting shape, making the stroke variable widths, as it was hand written. Problem with this is that the "Expand Stroke" results in way too many points, even with a smooth path to begin with. The issue can be seen here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/zjko4wl5uduav23/Screenshot%202015-07-19%2011.46.51.png?dl=0 Is there any way I can avoid or improve this so that I have drastically less points so that altering the expanded stroke becomes a viable option?

Are you planning on any feature to build grids of data? Im recurrently needing this for data sheets, price tables, etc, so I was wondering if it is something you have considered.

Im having a few issues with gradients with blending modes. Where can I send a sample file?

Also, please add options for optimising the PDF size when exporting. It's generating quite heavy PDF files, with many parts rasterised I have no idea why.

The colors still look really weird when opening previous files with this beta. Specially the whites, seem washed out, with a slight yellow tint.

The app is missing and/or would benefit with shortcuts for things like: Resize objects Enabling text input when pressing Enter with a text layer selected Hide/Unhide layers Navigate through the layers panel Simple things but huge time savers. When you get proficient with shortcuts like this, you'll never go back. Thanks.

Hi MEB, Cool, thanks. Just reviewed that list and i've found a couple of features I was also wondering if would come to Affinity. I am using the app to build some files for print production. Apparently the PDF is outputting without issues, should I be concerned about it? Thanks

Im having a few issues exporting PDFs for online catalogues. In Illustrator I used to have the option to downsample the bitmaps, therefore reducing the size of the output file. Affinity doesn't seem to have anything equivalent. Also tried to open the exported PDF in Illustrator a export it again from there but strangely that made no difference. Are you planning any option for export optimisation?

Weird. I was trying on a set of objects that were part of the same layer, didn't work consistently. With that option enabled I haven't had any issues so far though. Thanks for the tip.

Just starting out with Affinity and im loving it. One things bothers me though, can't find a way to quickly click to drag multiple objects. Any tips please?

Im using something called hyperswitch that allow me to cycle through open documents as you would cycle through apps with CMD+TAB. This works on everything except Adobe apps. Sadly it is currently not working with Affinity Designer. I was wondering if this would be something you could have a look at. Thanks.
