  1. Im sure this could be done better with more tweaking and refinement. Tux in a globe.afdesign Added a few more catch lights.
  2. @firewater Hi, Does this pixel art have to a particular size or are you just experimenting to find the best settings for pixel art export? Try exporting with this file: Pixelart integer sized.afdesign pixelart export.mp4
  3. All I did was Click in the width box and press the up arrow on my keyboard until both width and height were integer (whole) numbers.
  4. To tag onto @dutchshader inquiry, you can scale the little people to integer sizes Large one will scale up to 85px x 155px and the little one will scale up to 32px x 62px these will export 1:1 so the square remains a square.
  5. Click on Export Persona Make sure you are on the Slices Tab Click on the plus but do not choose a preset Click on Export Slices. You should end up with a png like this
  6. That just promotes laziness and an untidy swatch, asset, style, symbol and anything else that can create a preset list. This is touted as a professional piece of software so efficiency is an essential feature, I mean can you imagine the chaos if, as a mankini model I didn't have my mankini's with labels on them in order of snugness, fabric and colour, my god man, I just shudder thinking about the calamities that would befall the world. (You have been warned hahaha!)
  7. @h_d yes I have just amended my post to say the same with the addition that on the inner and centre align it looks ok.
  8. Does anyone else get this effect? This happens when the stroke is aligned to the outside, the centre and inner stroke align doesn't show this. You might be better off using Effects > Outline it gives more favourable results.
  9. Yes I spotted that, I can't work the logic of having greys showing on a new document when I suspect most people work in colour. The option to set a default is at best, misleading.
  10. Scrub That, it doesn't work for me, It always defaults to the greyscale Palette when opening a new file which is damned annoying. Any info on why this might be Mods?
  11. If you have some custom swatches you could export them first and then go to Preferences > Miscellaneous > Reset Fills, then import the custom swatches back into Affinity.
  12. In the meantime I have just tried SVG for Web, this has the DPI set to 72 so I changed it to use DPI: 96, I then clicked on Manage Presets and created a preset and called it: SVG for Web DPI 96 and saved it, Create preset... is greyed out in the screenshot because I haven't edited the created preset but when you do it it will show in black. These are the settings I used for the SVG for Web DPI 96.
  13. Sometimes you can get pixel detail out that looks hidden, this is a poor image so its impossible to get the whole licence plate but by adjusting the gamma in the Levels adjustment you can see maybe 2 of the numbers, probably a 5 and either a 6 or an 8. Sometimes you can use the design of the licence plate to focus in as America has some pretty neat licence plate designs with more than just licence plate number info on them.
  14. I would have thought for the Surface 3 the desktop version is the applicable version to use. Wouldn't hurt to try.
  15. Yes, Assets are assets for any type of work. Just export the iOS assets to an .afassets file, you can import them should you ever need them. Reinstalling the app will also restore them. For the iOS 11 assets you would likely have to download them again but thats not a biggy. I have quite a few Assets and load time and app usage doesn't appear to be affected. I design and sell crafting components and they have to be decent quality. If you are running out of Memory I'd suggest getting more, if the system will take it, or look at the apps that are running in the background and disable any that aren't necessary; that will be a lot on Windows, practically every app you install on windows wants to sit there in memory waiting for you to do something. If you have a branded PC like HP and to a lesser degree, Dell, they love to install lots of "helper" apps and most can be disabled. Streamlining your system for better performance can help a lot.
  16. You can recreate it with a bit of effort, your first step is to clone out as much of the black as possible: Tweaked a bit.afphoto I don't suppose you got a licence plate?
