  1. One of the reasons we have migrated to YouTube for our video tutorials is that the in-built auto translate is quite good. If you select closed captions your language should be auto-detected, or you can choose your preferred language for the captions.
  2. Tomorrow we have a creative session about Affinity Publisher from our new in-house Affinity Publisher expert Emily Goater. Hope to see you there at 4pm BST!
  3. @pmabdullah87 Thank you for the feedback! This is definitely something I will talk to the Web Dev team about for future iterations.
  4. Thank so much to everyone who voted, we really appreciate it!
  5. Thank you all for the feedback so far, we really enjoyed making Affinity Spotlight! It has been answered further up this thread, but just to reiterate, this project was developed by the web/systems and content team and has in no way affected the development timelines for any of our software releases. I will also let the web team know about the RSS feed requests, its definitely something we will talk about! @retrograde Hey Kevin! In answer to your question, content will always be there on Spotlight and we will just keep adding to it. It will not be replaced by new stuff.
  6. @Oval Just available in English language for the foresseable I'm afraid.
  7. I'm over the moon to tell you about the launch of Affinity Spotlight, the new place to go for creative inspiration, learning resources and Affinity news. Whether it’s features on artists and photographers using Affinity, tutorials on how to get the best from the apps, behind-the-scenes insight or news and updates, it will all be posted on Affinity Spotlight. We’ve literally just made the site live and we’d love you to check it out! https://affinityspotlight.com This has been a real labour of love for our web dev team and our content team, and of course, this is just the start—we’ll be posting new stories and articles each week. We hope you like what we’ve done and enjoy reading our stories. All the best, Kate

  9. Currently on maternity leave

  10. @thomGillespie - the 1.5 update is not in beta yet, this was just a sneak peak at some of the upcoming features. We expect the 1.5 beta for Affinity Photo on Mac to begin in around 3-4 weeks and we will release it on the app store when we feel it is ready. @Paolo - :D @MBb & @livetheshot - Might be best waiting for the beta to look at the features in detail and to see the specifics for yourself as the devs are still working on the 1.5 update...
  11. Check out the sneak peek of the HDR and 360 image editing features coming to Affinity Photo 1.5! Version 1.5 features announced today include: • Advanced HDR merge producing full 32-bit linear colour space images • An entirely new workspace for tone mapping • Focus stacking to bring depth to multiple combined images • Batch processing for smoother, faster workflow • Macros to record and replay a set of commands • An all-new way to edit 360 degree images Some much anticipated features to look forward too here, coming soon to Affinity Photo... :)
  12. Thats great news Shi Lichuan, really pleased to hear it! Would love to see them when you are done too :)
  13. Hi Shi Lichuan, welcome to the forums! I'm afraid this is not something we can give permission for as our content is protected. However, thats not to say we don't really appreciate your efforts! I would recommend that you could make your own tutorial videos using the Chinese version of Affinity Photo and your own content... as far as I am aware there isn't anyone making this sort of learning material for Affinity in Chinese currently. Thanks! Kate
  14. @evtonic3 - It is always safer to back up any of your own assets, but as far as I am aware my user assets seem to have stayed intact since updating.
  15. @Corsicaman - We are looking at having the 1.5 beta for Affinity Designer available in the next couple of weeks or so, it has got loads of fab new features! @uncle808us - If you haven't already, it might be an idea to make a new thread with any suggestions and improvements you think would be good for grids for the devs to take a look at. @postmadesign - Hmmm, I don't know why you are experiencing that sorry. Can I suggest you make a new thread about these issues? The devs or Paolo from DAUB may be able to shed some light on it... @Optikz @Kevin Day, it may take a little while for the updates to filter through all the MAS, so worth checking back later. It may also be worth restarting your machine and then checking for updates on the MAS.
  16. Hi all, The team have released the latest updates (1.4.2) for Affinity Photo and Affinity Designer, which focus on bug-fix updates, stability improvements and performance.
