Thanks for the 'advise' - but it seems I'm too linked into Google and my Mac Machine is being smashed by bugs from Apple updates... Goggle and Apple pushing Ai is a real bummer, especially when the Ai tag is a contradition in terms. i.e. it maybe artificial but it's not intelligent... it's pretty dum in my experience. Cheers anyway.

I have an issue > I use the EXPORT command constantly in Photo 2 - On exporting the JPEG will not work- A copy is saved as jpg - Affinity states I must use jpg and will not save JPEG ? That means I have Double Files of the same image in each job I do and have to send the JPEG original to the Trash - Incrasing my Labour time when editing 100 JPEGS. The Affinity 2 photo has done this since Updating. Is it a BUG..

Whats with the signing in new procedure? Why cannot I sign in with my normal account on Affinity - And why does it need to go through Microsoft or Google ...

I think the issue is with a Mac update or a conflict - I worked on updates now and have not used Ventura on our iMac for Affinity - and now it seems to work OK- The 12.7 Monterey OS update is a bit more stable and unbloated - I have Publisher also - And now I cannot change the Colour of the Bleed (from the default 'Mauve' shade which is not suitable for easy positioning with bled images, to our preferred Bright Red bleed) - I tried the document 'set up' but it simply does not Change at all So? It's not a big deal generally, but we publish a lot of mags so for us it is...

My Affinity Photo 2.2 will NOT open any file - on my iMac made previously with photo2.2 - NO files open- I have unistalled and reinstalled and still the same issue

Trying out Photo V2. Last few days the export (jpeg or PNG) is not showing the IKON as an image. I'm running MacOS 12.6.5 The Preferences are checked for 'Save Thumbnail' Any ideas if tere is another pref I'm missing? Thanx for help-

This issue is a siude issue to our Photo App crashing on an Imac running 12.6.5 - We have now tested a possible solution which actually worked. We have uninstalled the Photo software and purges all other files in the Library associated with Affinity Photo (and affinity Designer). We have isolated running our Publisher App on the 12.6.5 - which to date has not crashed at all. We then loaded the Affinity Photo as a singular Software on another iMac running El Capitan (last OS update) and tested by opening Several Files of various Sizes and made elementary Edits (Levels/Document Size/Vibrancy etc) all having the same ICC colour porofile - This resulted in Not One Crash. So hopefully we shall maintain this arrangement to allow our production of our Magazines - to flow uninterrupted by annoying Crash and Restarts. Denis

I have now unistalled Affinity Photo on our Mac#1 (Monertrey 12.6.5) and will try working solely with our Mac earlier Mac OS (El Capitan 10.11.6) working soley Off line - to see if that solves the issue- And we shall see if things improve our time isses production runs (ref to Crashes of Aff-Photo v1. So far (the Publisher V1 software seems stable on the 12.6.5 machine) However we have un-istalled Designer V1 and taken the Licence Keys out from the Library on the Monterray 12.6.5 Mac OS. btw: We also tried out Designer in Version 2 on a Widows (up to date OS) and that had another issue of Not being able to Communicate with the Software for Windows.

Hi - The crash occurs when I have 2 to 5 files open - Each time my Mac wants me to report to Apple which I refuse to do. I also have tried working offline when the same number of files are Open and the whole Program Crashes. I then restart and clean with Disk Utility - and only open One file at one time (off line) and then it does not crash - But this is very very tiring and slow (and totally not good for production). I am using Affinity for a Magazine and a VR Gallery and have many images to process . If this continues I may have to resort to go back to PSD-

Affinity Photo Crashes when two or more files are open - We have aloted memory of 57344MB - The generated crash report implies We Reporting the crash file to Apple - which we do Not - We bought Affinity Suite from the Affinity Store - Not from iStore (apple) We wonder why this happens (infrequently) but more frequently than we feel comfortable with. The auto setting of Clone Brush set to Soft - is not actual. When Tool is selected it is alway hard edge - Zero Opacity - and the auto Soft edge brush always need resetting to required size for delicate (Clone retouching) - It increasing production time when processing many images - Wondering if this has beed addressed in V2 - Irun V1 in all three at the moment on desk top - as I am still concerned about the bugs I have read on this forum.

Sounds like many issues for mac desktop users. I'm unsure what advantage V2 has for V1 looks as if this V2 revamp is for ipads etc...think I shall wait to see if ghe bugs are sorted on Ventura.

Still Having issues with Crash on Mac 12.6 - My Affinity Photo version is up to date version 1.10.5 - I cannot load up more than three images - on a repetive resize routine- This is where it crashes every time.
