  1. Good idea. Brush management in general leaves a lot to desire. There are no right-click menus that could speed up the painting process like you have it in other programs. Brush Nozzles do not keep their original size, but are resized to the primary brush. Reset does not reset to the originally saved brush but the latest change (and is therefore mostly useless IMO). Pen pressure allows to go beyond the selected brush size (people usually have a reason to select a certain size). And so on.
  2. The current way of Reset in the Paint Brush Tool is more or less useless. It doesn't reset the originally saved brush, but only the different settings while the edit menu is open. Once closed you have basically a new brush and the Reset is of no use if you want back the original brush.
  3. AP is an excellent piece of software, but often I don't understand the design decisions. The missing flip x and y and the strange rotation limits are good examples for this.
  4. Yes, and that's the problem. AP should remember the settings of the original brush and not of any edits. That makes the whole Reset function useless.
  5. I just tried it with different brushes. Some have the effect you described, others not.
  6. The slider for Rotation in the General settings in the Edit Brush Menu goes shows only 50% when pulled completely to the end. But the value can be increased beyond 50% when put in manually. As someone has explained, this is intentional. Well, I don't think this very smart. It definitely interrupts the work flow. I don't know where else this kind of feature is implemented but I suggest to reconsider this.
  7. The slider for Rotation in the General settings in the Edit Brush Menu goes shows only 50% when pulled completely to the end. But the value can be increased beyond 50% when put in manually. This is quite odd. Why doesn't AP rotate the brush by 100 (or 99) percent when pulling the slider to its maximum? Is this a bug?
  8. The Reset function in the Edit Brush Menu doesn't work. After editing the brush settings (Size, Spacing etc.) it doesn't revert back to it's original state when I hit Reset.
  9. After trying this feature I think it is good, but has a not so small disadvantage. No matter which original size the additional nozzles have, AP resizes them to the brush size that is given in the 'General' tab of the 'Edit brush' drop down. So if the first (original) nozzle is 100 px, and I add another with 60 and 30 pixels, AP will increase them to 100 px which results in considerably blurred tips. So I think adding an option like 'Keep original nozzle size' in the the Brush Nozzles section would be a great and useful addition.
  10. You are right. I completely missed this feature. Thank you!
  11. A great addition for AP would be an option for an image pipe similar to GIMP. GIMP's .gih format compiles images from different layers to animated brushes. As AP already introduced images brushes this would be a great addition. EDIT: the compiled images should keep their original size and not be resized to the same dimension.
  12. Tablet Input Method (Edit > Preferences > Tools) has three options: Low Precision, High Precision, Windows Ink. Can someone explain the difference?
  13. Thank you, Gnobelix! This fixed the problem. But now the large image brushes have an extrem lag. Any solution for this? EDIT: Tablet input Mode: Low Precision also fixes the issue, without causing any lag. So my guess is it's rather a software issue instead of a driver problem. Maybe the programmers should have a look into this.
  14. It would be useful to have more preview options (small, large etc.) within a category to better identify similar brushes. Sorting categories by name or date is not actually a game changer.
  15. When activating the pressure control for the paint brush tool, it is possible to draw a stroke beyond the default size (see attachment). I find this not very useful, because it takes away control from the drawing process - I have good reason to choose a certain size. It seems not possible to restrict the size to the chosen value in the brush settings. Referring to the attached image, even with pressure control activated, the stroke must not go beyond 16 px. It should be possible to have the option to restrict the size.
  16. I'm not sure if this is an issue with my tablet (or driver) or if this is a bug. When I make a tip or start a stroke using the paint brush tool the first tip is duplicated. That becomes especially obvious if an image brush with transparent features is used (the opacity is increased), as the first tip is stronger than the following. It does not happen when I use the mouse. I use a Huion Inspiroy H950P.
