As mentioned in many parallel threads (see previous link to search), when it is added to the LibRAW library (as far as I know, it still isn't at the moment), and when this library is implemented in APhoto.
LibRAW in their blog have replied on the 6th April 2022.

I have been waiting since early June 2022. Still not a beep from affinity. ON1 have already release a support, Faststone image viewer last week released a new version with OM-1 support. So when will the support come?
-
So still no update to support the OM-1 ORF files.
Is there a way to load the LibRaw program to enable that Raw development? -
Any temporary work around while waiting?

I’m afraid you just missed the special offer which accompanied the launch of Affinity Designer for iPad. On past form there will be special offers when version 1.7 is released and when Affinity Publisher is released, but both of those events are likely to be quite some way off.
Any admin can help?
-
Any special offers? Currently I am using the Windows version. I am thinking of using a Mac Book and also a iPad for on the move use. I also am interested in the designer.

The export in my case is not the same as the viewed. Where sis I go wrong in the export? It seem to turn under exposed to Blue. (Windows version)

As long as it's FREE, Won't mind trying. That Sage is painfully slow. Maybe it's not optimized for windows 10.

I'll see if I can find the link for Argus Viewer, I remember was kind of buried on their website.
Media Preview as far as I remember it's mainly for video files.
I personally switched to fastpictureviewer codecs, it just works too well.
Hope that helps.

Finally something works.
Thank you verysame. Why did you come in earlier?

They have already tried to explain you that the preview of media files has nothing to do with a graphics editor.
The reason why you can see the preview in Fastone Image Viewer is because, like the name implies, is a viewer.
When it comes to open the raw files from within a graphics program, the software can only rely on the native OS to preview the files on your hard drive. And that's not a limitation of Affinity Photo, this would happen in any other software.
You can try free software to enable preview in Windows Explorer which will work for all the graphics applications you have installed on your machine (because these apps work at the OS level).
Here are a few examples:

For a program which is supported by donations, Faststone offers a very usable set of editing tools. I have been using faststone for a long time and even giving them a donation for their efforts. BUT Affinity is not free or on donation.
It's a PAID software and as a client, I find that I cannot see the ORF to enable selection for editing. If I had know of this short fall, I would not have purchase this. AND since I only had it for less than 30 days, Can I ask for a refund as I cannot possibly be using an alternative program to see what I need to edit before opening it. And since there is no 1 stop solution and there is no offer for it to be fixed either.

From checking, it seems that Faststone is just displaying the embedded jpg. why can't Affinity do the same? Why rely on Microsoft's file explorer?
-
Then maybe Affinity have their own file viewer that will show the embedded jpeg.

You can get a Codec pack as I did, works very well for all My Olympus RAW files.
Have already paid for Affinity Photo, Why pay again if a FREE Faststone can do it seamlessly?
-
Can someone suggest how to view those thumbnails in Affinity Photo?
Even a FREE faststone have no trouble displaying those thumbnails.
-
IS there any workaround so that we can see the thumbnails?
Does V2 support OM Digital OM-1 RAW

Still needs refining. Yes, it opens but when you use it for say Panorama, not all the files will be visible and on forced selected, it will go not responding when you stitch. So in other words, not supported yet.
