@JokeRat @Madame
Thanks for your kind words, I appreciate all of your support
I'll be making more short videos this coming year. I've been recording almost everything I do on AD lately, so I can sit back later and edit those recordings into micro-tutorials...
Please stay tuned :)

Why do you duplicate the vector shape to put inside a pixel layer (where it acts as a mask) rather than simply putting the pixel layer inside the original vector object, where the pixels are clipped to the original shape?
Hi, thanks for asking!
When you mask without duplicating the shape, you end up with a transparent object. I like to keep my original colors intact and use the bitmap brushes just for 'decoration' and not for filling the whole thing, as if you were painting on a bitmap software (I.E. AP)
I don't know if I have made myself clear here, today I'm working like in auto-pilot, but I hope my answer makes sense to you. If not, please let me know :)

@DesignMeister
I don't have a particular size for creating bitmaps, but I always use textures from 1600px and up. The textures are always B/W images, hope that helps :)

THANK YOU - I requested this video in another thread :)
I really hope this helps increase your sales!
Thank you.
Thanks a lot! This trick is very useful with any kind of bitmap-based brushes :)

Wow! Now I'm psyched to try out brushes next! Looking forward to seeing more of your work!
S:)
Thanks a lot my friend! :D

I'm sure a demo video of how to use the brushes would increase sales even further.
Hello DesignMeister!
Here's a quick tutorial on how to use these brushes and also a free sample pack if you haven't tried 'em yet :)

Hey there!
Here's a quick tutorial/demo on how to mix vector shapes and bitmap textures in Affinity Designer. Here I'm showing a simple but pretty useful technique I'm applying to almost all my vector artwork nowadays.
FREE SAMPLE PACK!
I'm also giving away a small sample of my recent brush pack for Affinity Designer called Texturizer Pro. With this sample pack you can have enough to play around and get an idea of what the full set is about.
Click on the image below to download this FREE sample pack and watch the video tutorial!
Hope you guys enjoy and find this useful!

Thanks a lot for purchasing the brushes, hope you have fun with 'em!

@Frankentoons: it's not your problem. ...
I'll do that change in the landing page as soon as I can, just to make sure that everybody knows which paying service they'll be using.
About the Clip Studio request, I haven't planned to make a set for that app just yet (although I own a copy). But that is a pretty good idea. I'll be considering it. Thanks for asking!

Any chance of a mini tutorial video, showing exactly how you use these brushes?
Basically just a video of a shape, which then gets filled in with the the textured colour would be great.
Thanks.
Hi! thanks for asking, I'm working right now on a text/video tutorial that teaches how simple is to work with this pack as I show in the promo material. I'll be releasing that tutorial by the end of the next week on frankentoon.com :)

Brilliant work.
I got the brushes now. :)
Thank you so much Madame, hope you have lots of fun with the pack! :D

Wished I understood that the link on the right was Sellfy...
Hey Mike, first of all... THANK YOU for purchasing the brushes, I appreciate it, a LOT! hope you have fun with 'em :D . Second I'm sorry you had to go through all that trouble to getting them. I'm gonna fix that landing page today, so anyone can see where are they buying from beforehand.
Thanks again and I apologise for that inconvenience!

Well, I caved in and bought them this evening. (I already had the free Texturizer-A set, so I knew what to expect.)
Other users in Europe may be interested to note that Gumroad charges VAT but Sellfy doesn't. As luck would have it, I only discovered this after I purchased through Gumroad, which is where I usually buy this kind of product.
Oh... I was totally unaware of that Alfred. This is the first time I use Sellfy, nice to know! I always like to give a couple of options to users, because every service have advantages and disadvantages depending on their location and other individual reasons.
Thanks for sharing that fact and a BIG, BIG thank you for purchasing the brushes! :D

Great brush work Mr. Frankentoons!
Thanks a lot Sir!

I know I'm late in responding to this, but you have a truly amazing style. I always just use the pen tool for the line work, but you proved that you can make great use out of shapes and the corner tool. You drew this character in a style I wouldn't have thought of. Great job!
Thanks a lot for such a nice comment, I'm glad I could help!

Fantastic work Enrique :) Very nice way to showcase your brushes.
Looking forward for more ... illustrations and brushes!
Thanks a lot for the kind compliments! I appreciate them!

Nice work Frankentoon! And a nice texture brush pack, maybe an early christmas gift for myself... ;-)
Thanks you! That sounds great for me hahaha :D
-
Looks amazing!! I love how you show on your website the straight vectors without the brushes, and then with the brushes... like a split screen! Great work!
Thanks a lot! Here's the before/after of this one :)

Hey George, how is it going!
Thanks for asking. Is part what you said, part bad habit. I tend to move all my texture layers all away from the vector ones once I have my illustration done, just for the sake of organization and my mania of turning textures on and off all at once (I have problems...)
Aammppaa pointed a more easier workaround in another thread. I'm going to make another quick video tomorrow, showing that method, so people can choose which one fits better with the way they work.
Cheers buddy!
