  1. I, too, prefer icons, especially for things like save, save as, undo, copy, cut, paste, etc. I constantly have to resort to the menus which drives me batty. It's time consuming. Please consider adding the ability to choose icons rather than trying to find and remember shortcut keys. The lack of icons that I can use in the older Serif products is what keeps me using them rather than switching over completely to the Affinity programs. It's like the designers of the Affinity apps have gone out of their way to make things more difficult for those of us who prefer clicking an icon to perform a task. I hope you will seriously consider giving us back the icons that are missing.
  2. Sorry I haven't gotten back until today. I have not tried to remove and reinstall the updated version. My PC updated again this morning so I may try installing again in case the update fixed anything. (Unlikely, I know; it's Windows.) Will let you know what happens.
  3. Since this doesn't appear to be a closed topic, and it is talking about what I have just encountered I am posting here. The difference is that I already have Affinity Designer installed (purchased 6/27/17 and installed soon after) but today I downloaded the update which will not install but gives me the same error message as GoB was getting. I am running win10 Home with the latest updates. Since I had no trouble installing initially, I don't know why I am having trouble now unless it is due to a major update of win 10 several weeks ago.
