  1. This is absurdity!

I will describe it briefly, because my English is bad.

I wanted to merge objects (it was 31 objects) - it still takes longer than 10 minutes! I still waiting for effect ... I look to monitor activity, and there .. Check it screenshot. More than 26GB of memory usage?!?! My iMac Mini has 16GB.

It's probably a bug or..? - how about that? When I finish this post it's now 20 minutes and still nothing. I guess I'll have to reset the AD. Any ideas?

Btw, other programs and functions work flawlessly at that time.

    Cheers!

  2. I just tried this with a big circle and some text, but neither show that jaggedness here (neither in AD Beta nor in the release version). I used 600 and 300 dpi documents on a retina iMac.

What are your document settings and which form/font exactly did you use?

    I am working on a Mac mini (Late 2012), 2,3 GHz i7, 4GB.
I bought AD, but before the update was OK.
Document settings in the screenshot below.

I used the ellipse tool, and the problem occurs on all fonts.

  3. I have some 2.400 fonts installed and active, can't repeat the bug. Only the first time when I open the drop down it takes a little while, but then I can either scroll with the mouse or with the arrows. iMac 8.1 (27", late 2008, with 6 GB RAM).

Maybe a re-install will help? Did you check and verify your fonts lately with font book?

yeah, you're right. It works on the drop-down menu bar, but it does not work in the Fonts window. Before upgrading it worked...

  4. Hi SimoneM,

    Welcome to Affinity Forums :)

If they are your own personal computers, yes you can install the application in both.

    According to Apple license terms:

MAC APP STORE PRODUCT USAGE RULES

Except as otherwise set forth herein,

    (i) If you are an individual acting in your personal capacity, you may download and use an application from the Mac App Store (“Mac App Store Product”) for personal, non-commercial use on any Apple-branded products running Mac OS X (“Mac Computer”) that you own or control.

Correct me if I'm wrong, so if I want to use AD for commercial purposes, that it can be installed only on one computer?

    Cheers!
  5. Hi, I just upgraded to the latest version of AD, a lot of great new features - Thnx!

Unfortunately, no longer work for me selection fonts (from Character windows/Panel) by pressing the up/down Arrow keys on the keyboard..? as it was before the upgrade.

Now I have to click by the mouse each font to view them - with three hundred, it takes endlessly... :/

This is a bug, or I can fix it somehow from the program?

    Cheers!
