HochdruckHummer got a reaction from Oval in HEIF
IMHO HEIF is the best thing that could happen to digital pictures to save storage while keeping high picture quality. Please don't stand in that formats way. Please integrate HEIF support for reading and exporting.

    Hi guys,

Any thoughts on MPEG/Apple’s brand-spanking-new High Efficiency Image Format support?

Affinity seems to be a logical choice for people who want to stay current on the latest and greatest standards, all with its fresh codebase and support for macOS-specific technologies… And let’s not forget about PC and iPad folks as well. Having Affinity support that format on all major platforms would greatly boost its adoption rate. What do you say?

I miss an item in File menu to "Close All" files.

Or maybe also a contextual menu over the file tabs to "Close", "Close All", "Close Other", "Close right tabs",...

    Thanks.

HochdruckHummer reacted to arg0 in List of compatible Cameras and Lenses for automatic lens correction
I can answer my own question: in AP 1.5.1 my lenses are correctly recognised and correction applied upon opening the image. What confused me is that toggling the Lens Correction setting in the Develop Assistant does not dynamically modify the displayed image. But, upon opening two copies of the same image with Lens Correction on and off, respectively, the corrections become apparent. I'd still wish that the GUI indicated that the/what lens was recognised and corrections applied, though.
