Importing PDF fonts missing?

mjv1989 posted a topic in Pre-V2 Archive of Affinity on Desktop Questions (macOS and Windows)

I am working on a Mac and when I import a PDF file into Affinity Designer the fonts disappear. I have attached screenshots of the problem. Any help would be great thanks!
