  1. I have read probably 100 posts on this problem and still have not found a simple solution. I have images that I need to paste in to AP or AD from Powerpoint, Excel, sometimes other sources, and they appear very low-res and pixelated no matter what the size or resolution of the document that is pasted into. Examples: pasted into AP (left), pasted in microsoft word (right). I don't know the sizes of the images that are pasted in.
  2. OK, thanks. It is true that opening the gel file instead of the tiff export gives a better match to the original. It also helps to change the color profile in AP first to 16-bit grey; this allows for similar color as the original also. I think this problem is reasonably solved now.
  3. I don't think so but I'll check. What is the significance of the pop up window that AP shows when the files are opening? (attached) If I change the profile, will this improve the resolution? assigned profile pop up.docx
  4. There are pixelation/resolution problems opening tiff files generated by other instruments though. Not specific to the typhoon.
  5. I already posted this elsewhere but did not get a response, so posting again here. I am opening a ~8 MB greyscale tiff file but it opens in AP with very high contrast and low resolution, as if the greyscale detail has been lost. How do I fix this? tp030321.tif
