Patrick, you're a genius! I went back to the Apple Store once more, but this time did as you suggested with the CMD+R and Eurika, both updates appeared! Many thanks, Steve.

I have Designer and Photo and I do not remember how I purchased them (either Apple or direct). I can't find the 1.7 updates on the Apple Store or in the Affinity downloads section. What to do???? Steve O'Neill
