derrickmg got a reaction from Aftemplate in AVIF file format support would be nice web browsers start to support it.
PLUS ONE for this, web browsers will support this from September and I would love to convert all online images to this as it stands an AVIF image of the same quality is 10 times smaller than a jpg and that would super speed up any webpages which will effect google seo rankings.

Indeed, the possibility for the Table of Contents to generate PDF bookmarks from the paragraph style would be an appreciated addition to Publisher.

derrickmg reacted to walt.farrell in OCR and Character Recognition: Affinity Publisher
Sorry, but I'll have to disagree.
The function is usually much better when an application focuses on doing one thing well, or at least a related package of things, and its developers understand that function.
OCR is not related to Publisher's mission, and is not like anything else that Publisher does. If OCR is important to you, use an application focused on OCR and you will have better results.

Hi Stiggity Steve,
Welcome to the forums
Affinity Publisher doesn't currently support importing hyperlinks I'm afraid.
Thanks
