I can replay all steps from history. when i replay a paste, and then try to paste again (not from history), nothing happens. But this could be a separate bug/feature: History does not record copy as individual step, or fill the pasteboard. It only applies the paste action. Once i fired up my PC again, i will try it there.

To export it rotated, you might use macros to repeatedly rotate and export with a single keystroke or mouseclick. to make a video, ffmpeg can combine jpeg or png to a video with a simple command line. Or any video editor, e.g. Davinci Resolve.

Could you explain in more detail what you expect, and how it would benefit your workflow? There are multiple ways to interpret your request: coloring the currently gray histogram area in red if red channel is selected coloring the gray histogram in RGB / CMYK if master is selected (like histogram panel) marking all pixels in you document which could be affected by adjustment ???

Thanks again. Very strange, In about 1/3 of my attempts I can copy/paste from existing triangles to the path text, but I never succeeded pasting a fresh copy from triangles outside.

Assuming this is not a bug but by design. The text layer is only black, no other color. So halftone will leave it untouched by design. If you nest the halftone filter to it, it is intended to only impact this layer. Halftone requires different colors (grey levels) in the layer stack of its reach. If you apply a color gradient to the text, halftone will work on an isolated text layer.

As a second recommendation, the Affinity RAW engine does not deliver identical results compared to camera vendor apps, especially in case of Canon, or new-to-market camera models. I preference to use Canon DPP for tasks like batch lens correction and basic raw development. All later edit steps can be done in Affinity products. DPP far better supports batch processing. In case of yourSony gear, you could check if using the Sony app (only for initial raw development including lens correction and exposure correction) is a viable workflow for you.

Unfortunately you found a weak spot in Photo. It is hardly possible out-of-the-box. Affinity has the ability to Create keyboard shortcuts for almost all functions Record Macros (with unfortunate limitations, e.g. about selecting layers or setting parameters of filters) Run batch jobs using pre-recorded macros applied to multiple images But it does not reach the same level of automation compared to other apps. Depending on OS (Mac or Win), you may use external Macro recorders to partially overcome this limitations.

To reduce manual steps, You could use a tool like exifviewer to extract the data, copy, and paste as text frame. Even Windows Explorer shows some exif data on request (file Info, or adding columns to list view)

Old Bruce is totally right, only to add topics for the sake of completeness: Photo uses all pixels of raw file, whereas (at least) Canon cuts off up to 24 edge pixels which reduces the vignetting problem. I assume the same effect here as the first screenshot is relevantly cropped to exclude problematic corners in rare cases of new cameras/lenses (meaning 1-2 years after market launch) there could be actually issues in Develop Persona to correctly interpret raw files. If you upload the RAW file (and reference file from first screenshot) we could analyze further

Same on latest retail. How do you get the triangle into the pasteboard? I made a triangle, the used pasteboard->copy on the layer can only paste letters, no other objects

Any iPad with large enough screen with Pencil works great. Last gen iPad Pro if money does not matter.

The suite was on 50% sale for almost 6 month since mid of January. I wouldn’t hold my breath, periods of sales have been seen historically about twice a year, in June/July (50%) and Nov/Dec (30%).

Probably issues with color profiles. (On your OS). Document is CMYK profile, ok in principle, but web search shows cases of issues (on MacOS) when using jpg and CMYK in combination. Unless you have a specific reason to choose this combination, i would recommend to avoid it. I have no access to MacOS, so take this as simply my 2 cents.

Hi, Affinity recommends to convert RAW files into other formats (TIFF, JPEG) before stacking. Using RAW in stacking is possible, but sometimes lead to issues which can be easily avoided. But the problem is more in wrong expectations about focus stacking and it’s limitations: normally a focus stack uses many images, with small equal-distant focus steps between them. Using only 3 images with shallow depth of field by f1/8 and huge gaps of focus points may be exceeding the abilities of Photo. There are not enough sharp pixels in the raw images based on chosen aperture.

Can you please disable OpenCL and check again? Another user reported identical issues, solved by that measure.

Try to click "reset" in the top right of the curves UI, and ensure that "Master" is active. Then again try to modify the curve. Deactivated red and blue channel in channels tool. Click the reset symbol (circle-shaped arrow).
