'Divide' is not implemented correctly and really needs reimplementing... It introduces strange shapes and arguably just produces the wrong outputs (as shown). The other operations are working better now, but I need more time with 'Divide' still...

I know, this is a long standing Issue and in this case and i loaded much files up for the developement and i´m very interested when this Issue will be fixed. Since September 2018 i´m using Software from Affinity and i´m very happy with it and i like it to work with it, but in case of Boolean Operations, explicitly divide, are, so far as i know, no improvements done and the Results are still really not good.

With this procedure, the curvature of the two end nodes don't match the curvature of the others after the conversion to smooth nodes. For some uses, this isn't desirable, but a simple modification will fix that:

We have made fixes/improvements to this area (Placing Embedded document places a blank 'file' initially) of the program in the latest customer beta. If you would like to try these changes the beta software is available in the forum posts listed below.
The latest beta builds are downloadable from links at the top of each of these beta forum posts.
Affinity Publisher 1.8.0.535 for Windows Affinity Publisher 1.8.0.535 for Mac These betas install parallel, next to the release version (they do not overwrite your release) and so the fixes can be tried in the beta without affecting your normal workflow in the release version.
Once these programs have been through a full beta process the change will be released in a future free 1.8.0 update/patch to all customers.

Is it possible to create a QR Code with Publisher?
How i imagine it?
Klick on a Button, f.e. QR Code, then a new window opens where you can enter your Text, V-card or url... what should be displayed when the code is scanned.
I have not found such a function. if it´s not possible at this time,  it would be very nice if it will be build in one time

If you open/copy the wavy lines from the id pdf and replace the apub ones, they don't get rasterized and the resulting pdf size is still small.

Nobody knows everything! I ran into it again today when testing this and forgot to update the bug report so it's a good job you mentioned it!
