  1. When I click on the icon to start the program, I get the splash screen, then "loading fonts" and then the splash screen closes. Occasionally I will get a glimpse of window asking if I would like to submit a report, but that window closes quickly. I have seen this problem in other posts and have tried the following suggested solutions without success: 1) Update the display drivers - I deleted the intel devices, the system restarted using the basic driver and then automatically updated to the latest intel drive. No change 2) Manually set the <UseHardwareAcceleration> in PerformancePreferences.xml to False - no change. 3) Downloaded installed the beta version for Designed and Photo - no change. Neither of these applications will load. I have attached the files from the most recent Crash report and I hope someone can help me solve this problem. The work is starting to backup! 62e53460-5b83-4853-9251-39a05d3f7d11.dmp 7378b833-71b1-468f-9e13-b47f83b98851-attachment.json 7378b833-71b1-468f-9e13-b47f83b98851-counter.json 7378b833-71b1-468f-9e13-b47f83b98851-dump.dmp 7378b833-71b1-468f-9e13-b47f83b98851-record.json 7378b833-71b1-468f-9e13-b47f83b98851-report.json attachment_Log.txt
  2. I ran into this problem today and I hope there is a better way to address; 1) After the 'Develop" persona step, I moved to the Photo personal and cropped a portrait photo for the size I was looking for 2) I started my editing and workflow which included selecting nd masking out the subjects eyes and then creating an adjustment layer/mask allowing my to increase the brightness of just the eyes. 3) After exporting the document, I realized I need to change the size and aspect ratio of the final image. 4) Within the Photo Persona, I used "Document/Unclip Canvas" to reset the size of the document back to the original form. This is where the problem arose. The Adjustment Layer/Mask created in step 2 did not resize to the original document size and was now too small for the canvas creating notable boarders within the image. IOW, the adjustment layer/mask for the eyes was smaller the the original document and as i had increased the 'brightness' there was a noticeable border around the document. The attached image illustrates the problem. Note the lighter boarder around the edges. if i tried to adjust the size of this Adjustment Layer/Mask, it was scaled and the area used to highlight the eyes was also scaled and hence no longer over the eyes, but showing up on the forehead as two bright blotches. So - is there any way to adjust the size of an adjustment layer/mask WiTHOUT scaling .... or do i simply need to adjust my workflow so that cropping is the last step ?
  3. I have had this problem as well. Just downloaded version 1.6.1.93 - Windows today and installed on a new machine. Once I disabled the extra monitor the adjustment layer dialog boxes appeared. Hope this gets addresses soon. I really like my larger monitor.
  4. Is it possible to append a folder name to a slice name ? As an example, if create a slice for my social media postings, can I how do I embed the folder name into the slice ?
