That should just be the zoom level of the Preview image.

Ah, the Filter on the bottom. Yes, in my above example that works great. I still think it would be useful in other cases, however, where knowing where in the document text shows up is useful. But thank you, for indexing the Filter search is great.

XLSX is already supported. XLS is unlikely.
Yes, the Table support needs more work.

What instructions did they provide for installing the program, and what format was it delivered in?

walt.farrell reacted to NotMyFault in RAW - No selection by menu if NOT developping to Pixel - Affinity Photo 2.3 Windows
Would love to get this. In the meantime I use merge visible to do your selection, then delete the superfluous pixel layer.
For selection purposes, I often create temp pixel layers and treat them with tone map persona, channels panel etc to tune them in a way that selections tools work in the way I want them.

walt.farrell reacted to DivSmart in Older generation iPad to run AD
Great question Walt!
Thanks for the clarification. I did not buy the Ipad V1 licence, so I would be using the Universal upgrade. The system reauirements don't state the RAM, so what should it have?

Ah, well, thank you very much! Importing the brush sets manually solves the problem.

The icon for the one you've marked in red indicates it was installed from the Store via the Account dialog. The green one says you imported it manually, and it's linked with the other applications.

Why are you asking about V1, though? While you say you have the Universal upgrade, that only implies you have at least one if the V1 applications. If you haven't already specifically purchased the V1 app(s) for the iPad when they were still available, all you'll be able to install with your Universal license are the V2 apps.

I think you're right, it's not just Frankentoon, several other sets of brushes from the store are the same. (I haven't checked all of them!)

walt.farrell got a reaction from MikeTO in More typographic features - Discretionary ligatures
It's only On or Off, as far as I know. But if you really needed to enable/disable it on a more granular basis you could always use a Character Text Style assigned to specific pairs of characters.

Or, possibly, it is not available for brush packs installed from the Affinity Store, as that one was.
You could probably Copy the brush to a category of your own, and rename it there.

walt.farrell got a reaction from SaaMosD in RAW - No selection by menu if NOT developping to Pixel - Affinity Photo 2.3 Windows
I've tried it now, and I was right that those selection functions don't work on Image layers, either. So, as I suspect, you would need to Rasterize the layer (whether RAW or Image) before making the selection.
I'm not sure that's required, as I think there are other pixel selection functions that work on Image layers.
But even then, you cannot use the selections to do anything to the pixels unless you have a Pixel layer. So Rasterization would be needed as the next step even if you could make the selection.
Yes, that means that some functions require destructive operations. In the case of a RAW layer, you could duplicate the layer, and Rasterize the duplicate. Then make your selection and work with it using the duplicated (now Pixel) layer. If you need to go back into Develop, you can use the original RAW layer, and simply re-do the steps you took on the Rasterized layer.

You can use a Liquify Live Filter from the Photo Persona of the Photo application.
And there was a time when, in the Photo Persona of Publisher, you could also use the Liquify Live Filter, which is similar to using the Liquify Persona in the Photo application. But that was a bug because the Liquify Live Filter requires the Liquify Persona, which is only in the Photo application, and that bug has been fixed.

You have an installation operation for something in progress.
You might try restarting Windows.

It would help to have a screenshot with the selection tool active, but for a guess, check the Feather value.

Did you change it to 0 before making the selection?
