Of course, that would mean that V1 users wouldn't be able to use a web search to answer their Help questions. Perhaps, instead, each of the Help pages could have a clear indicator of what it's for, perhaps a colored bar with some text saying "V1 Help" or "V2 Help", and a different color for the two versions.

I probably would not use the Line Width Tool for that, as duplicating another object's stroke doesn't seem to be one of its advertised purposes/capabilities. B already has a pressure profile. So, with B selected, in the Stroke panel you can click on the profile, then Save Profile. Then select A, and in the Stroke panel click on the pressure profile, and double-click on the saved profile to set A's pressure profile to exactly match the saved one from B.

There appears to be no default shortcut on Windows.

That is a Variable font, and that kind of font is not supported in the Affinity applications yet. The initial support will come in the 2.5.0 Beta, but is not yet present in the current beta build: You can help test it, if you want, by joining the beta program if you're not already a member. Much as Serif did with Affinity 1.9, then 1.10. They never got to 1.11, but they could have if they hadn't decided to switch to version 2.0 instead.

If you're working with a pixel layer, you can make a pixel selection of the image you want, and Ctrl+J or Cmd+J to put it on its own individual layer. Or you can use Ctrl/Cmd+X and Ctrl/Cmd+V to cut it and make it its own layer. But you can't use the Crop Tool in Photo for this.

Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums. This discussion is about Affinity Designer. If you're using Photo, then it's simply toggling View > Show Pixel Selection, as mentioned in (I think) the second post of this topic.

The beta still says that file was saved with the Release version of Designer 2.

You could try one other workaround, that works in some circumstances: long-press on the greyed-out .cube file, so you get the detailed file information. You may find Open available there. I have no idea how to debug this, nor why .cube files are usable on my iPad and not on yours. What iPad model and iPadOS release are you using?

If you only have one item selected that's the only one that would be affected.

That's not a bug, simply a function that has never been implemented. And it's not new behavior in the beta. I'm sure it's been requested before, but in any case it's more appropriate to add as a feature request in Feedback for the Affinity V2 Suite of Products

Note that in V2, you can: Set the Develop Persona to Develop to a RAW layer. Click Develop to return to the Photo Persona. Setup Guides using the Rulers and Move Tool. Click Develop Image on Context Toolbar to return to the Develop Persona, and continue working. You can also configure a Grid, and then use View > Show Grid.

In Designer if you select one of the images using a pixel selection I'm the Pixel Persona, you can use Cmd+J or Ctrl+J to duplicate it into a new layer. And you can use the Move Tool to rotate that layer. Perhaps that would work for you?

Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums. The Crop Tool in Designer is a Layer (Vector) Crop Tool, as opposed to the Image/canvas Crop Tool in Photo. If does not have a Context Toolbar, nor a straighten function.

Also, as a workaround, you could try: Open the Adjustments panel and switch the header to say Adjustments (not LUT, etc.) Scroll down the list of adjustment types to LUT, to add a default LUT adjustment. In the Adjustment dialog, click Load (upper left icon on V2) If that allows you to use your LUT file, then Create Preset (+ icon on V2) By the way, I have no problem loading your LUT file on my iPad using V1 or V2. However, in V2 there is an unresolved problem where the imported LUTs do not show up in the LUT category you're adding them to. The approach in steps 1-4 will save it, but I haven't figured out how to control which LUT category it's added to, yet.

Edit: These screenshots are from V1, but the menu locations are the same in V2. Just to confirm: You're using "Import LUT" from the menu on the category: And not Import Category from the menu at the top of the panel:

Try the font Segoe UI Symbol, which has at least the first 2 in that chart.

The Document menu commands (and their shortcuts) Document > Next|Previous Page, Document > First|Last Page, and Document > Go to Page will maintain the current zoom level, as will the scroll bar in the workspace.

Also, note that the Macro panel is in the Left Studio by default, and the Left Studio is hidden by default in Photo. So, you might also need Window > Studio > Show Left Studio.

That's still not really a topic for these forums, because these forums are about Affinity products, and the Affinity suite does not have an equivalent of WebPlus. The other forum that @Pšenda referred you to would probably be a good place for that discussion.

Don't the instructions in the Affinity FAQ work for you, with an appropriate hyphenation dictionary?
