Muchh of the text on that page is Rich Black, not true (0/0/0/100 K) Black: In the Swatches panel, there's a K100 Black available: (and actually, that Black in that part of the panel is a true black in any of the Palettes, not just in the Grays).

It would help to have a sample .afpub file and the PDF exported from it, not just a screenshot. There are some common ways it happens, though. Perhaps your "Black" wasn't a true Black from the very beginning. How did you assign it?

In the application Settings. Edit > Settings, or Ctrl+, (by default). If you want to try them, it's best to uninstall your current applications first. Things get confusing otherwise. If you use them, when there are subsequent updates you will be prompted to download them manually, and install them manually, like in V1 (and unlike the more automatic way that updates are handled for the MSIX versions).

Did you install using the default MSIX-based installers, or did you install using the optional EXE/MSI-based installers? Can you give us some specifications about your PC, and the Performance page from Settings for one of the applications? I'm not seeing a degradation as severe as you're reporting, but on the system I just tried (with MSIX installer) I have only 338 fonts installed. Designer 2 started in under 20 seconds. It is slower than V1, which only took about 7 seconds. And most of the slowdown does seem to be in font enumeration.

2.0 cannot open files saved by 2.1. Neither 2.0 nor 2.1 should be able to open files saved by 2.2 (beta or release), if 2.2 operates as expected based on the version numbering. That second number (the part after the first dot) is part of the compatibility indicator for the file formats. 2.1.0 would be able to open files saved by the 2.1.1 beta or release applications, because the numbers before the second dot are the same.

True, but in fairness, you need to know that it's Snapping before you can check the Help for it -

Automatic Master Page for sections
walt.farrell replied to MikeTO's topic in Feedback for the Affinity V2 Suite of Products
Sorry. Still don't quite understand what they are. Nor why they'd require a Master. If they are in a different position for each chapter I would think that would mean you wouldn't use a Master, but something unique for each one. -

Magenta outlines are usually caused by having Snapping Enabled, and Show Snapping Candidates enabled. -
Automatic Master Page for sections
walt.farrell replied to MikeTO's topic in Feedback for the Affinity V2 Suite of Products
Not sure what you mean by "tabs" in this context, Mike. Also: In my experience, it's fairly common for the first page of a chapter to be formatted differently from the remaining pages, meaning that it would often need a different Master Page than the other pages. It might be nice to allow that, too. Something like a Master Page (or pages) for the first page of the Section and a different Master Page (or set for the subsequent pages. -
If you mean sharp nodes, why not create them as smooth in the first place, if that's what you need? Or, possibly (not tried), you can select them all and create them to smooth in one operation using the Node Tool. (As is often the case, a screenshot of what you're starting from, and information of how you got there, might be useful.)

It's a known/logged bug, which (as they mentioned), norbinw has previously reported: https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/search/&tags=afd-3545
