  1. Hello Is anything begin done on the fault reported in the attached thread? Summary ... Affinity 1.10.1 iMac has both old Nvidia I-GPU (Non-Metal) and Modern Metal capable AMD E-GPU Affinity quickly crashes when opening any photo when the E-GPU is enabled Affinity should ignore the non-Metal GPU in this case Workaround is to use OpenGL, which isn't ideal. I can attach dump/diags when requested
  2. How do we get older versions? I have the Mac AppStore version
  3. Hi Gabe I can disable the HW Accel for now, .. but will the above issue be fixed eventually ? It's unique to Affinity.
  4. I"m wes above... I disconnected the Radeon E-GPU and it works on the I-mac I also tried WITH the same e-GPU on my 2015 15" MacBookPro11,4 and it works fine. This machine is 1 MacOS back from the iMac. It's on macOS 10.15.7 (19H114)
  5. I'm using Starrylandscape stacker to create some Astrophoto shots. One of it's functions is to separate background from the sky/stars. It will output two files ... one TIFF of the final result and another TIFF of the mask it uses. The intent is to load both into a program like Affinity and re-use the mask. How would I load that mask file in AP? I have attached an example. (horrible shots, but it gets the concept across) Thanks in advance P5170008-Min-mask.tif P5170008-Min.tif
  6. Experimenting with multiple exposure blending. Model on a swing. It looks fine when the models exposures do not overlap, but there are artifacts when she does overlap. How do I deal with the artifacts that happen when the exposures overlap? Thanks ! Annie.afphoto
  7. Yes, I've loaded images into the stack. Note that in the article they do not want the images aligned during the initial load .. that would ruin the objective. Rather they load the images into photoshop as layers, then chose Edit\Align Layers. I"m looking for that Edit\Align Layers function.
  8. Is there an AP equivalent to Photoshop "Edit>Auto-Align Layers…" ? In particular, to accomplish what this tutorial is trying to achieve ? Same question for the sharpening used in this article. https://petapixel.com/2015/02/21/a-practical-guide-to-creating-superresolution-photos-with-photoshop/
  9. Hi .. I bought 1.6.x from the Mac store, and I'm pretty sure I downloaded the bonus offers. But .. air-brain here forgot where I downloaded it to, or what the file names were. Could you post the filenames please ?
