  1. +1 for Dimensions and dimension lines from me as well. I was another happy DrawPlus user, and although I do own Affinity Designer, I've never actually used it for anything because of this omission (I do use Affinity Photo a lot though - but that for photos!)
  2. Thanks everyone, I had been working on a fill layer at the time it happened. I thought that it still stayed like that even when I deselected the fill layer and selected another (non-fill) layer, but it's possible that I was mistaken as it all seems to be back to normal now.
  3. In the colour panel there is normally a foreground and background colour, and you can press X to switch between them. For one photo I'm working on the background colour has disappeared (I tried to use the colour picker for once). So there is only one (larger) circle. How to I get the background colour to come back again?
  4. Is there any way to set the defaults for some of the tools in Affinity Photo (on Mac). Examples that I have to set every time I use it: - when cropping I always have to click the mode to "Original" - when cropping I always tick the box for "Darken Border" - when using the "Gradient" tool it always gives a gradient from white to light-grey (why?), but I always have to laboriously set it to white to black, isn't that more useful for exposure masks etc? I'm sure there are others, but those are the most common examples.
  5. Hi Serif, I was surprised when I used Designer for the first time (I've been using Photo for a while and am very happy there) that it doesn't seem to have support for dimensions/scale. That's a show stopper for me. I was particularly surprised as these are features that were in all the versions of DrawPlus from decades ago... By this I mean being able to set a scale, e.g. so many metres = so many mm (or whatever), and secondarily being able to put dimension lines on objects. I was hoping to use this for floor plans, and planning permission diagrams, like I used in DrawPlus for many years. Regards.
