  1. Its 2022. No sign of a blend tool. Doh.
  2. Thanks, but that would require me, to change the rectangle objects to curves. This is "destructive" from an object oriented point of view. If I had corner rounding parameters set, these would be fix after turning the boxes into "curves". So, no, there is no such thing as a sub-selection tool. In Illustrator this would the the white arrow.
  3. I cannot figure out how to drag-select vector points of separate vector objects simultaneously. There seems to be no sub-selection tool in Designer. E.g. I have 10 boxes aligned next to each other. Now, I just want to select the bottom 2 points of each box with one drag-selection. Impossible, right?
  4. Okay, finally go it. The checkbox was checked from the beginning and it still scaled the content. I had to un- and re-check it. Jeez. You should be able to use a key-modifier to switch to a sub-selection tool and just select whatever object you want. This workflow is unbelievably cumbersome. Thanks a bunch for all the help! And sorry for venting.
  5. It's still not working. Such a basic thing. Sorry, it's frustrating, coming from 20 Years+ Illustrator experience.
  6. How can I modify the clipping mask without affecting it's contents? For the life of me, I cannot find any information as to how simply widen the mask (e.g.) without widening the masked content. This is basic stuff.
  7. This still seems to be fubar. I cannot paste cells from google docs nor numbers to tables in Affinity publisher. This is such a basic feature. Hard to believe, this is still not tackled.
  8. Oh, I seem to have mixed up layers and groups. Sorry, guys, I am still recovering from Illustrator blindness. btw. Designer for Mac. Thanks for all the quick replies! Much appreciated.
  9. Is it somehow possible to select groups on the canvas with the move tool? It always selects a single group member. It looks like there's no other way than to go via the layers panel.
  10. It would be very useful to be able to set a reference point when mirroring objects.
  11. To all selected points in reference to the points themselves. Illustrator can do that, it behaves exactly the same as if aligning objects.
  12. And why would the align tool not just align 2 selected points of a shape?
