Hi Crosby,
Seems to me that you've cracked it. The second picture is a real gem. This is what I would use to promote the software. That picture looks like an original and the first picture looks like an overgrown thumbnail.
Vectormagic: the clue is in the title.
Is MEB on commission?

Hi Xiaoki, welcome to the forums.
I've just downloaded the tutorial and all seems fine. A glitch perhaps?

Hi travel bug, welcome to the forums.
As a hobbyist, I have never had the pleasure of feeding the Adobe cash cow. I am a Serif user though.
What Affinity will offer you is, speed, a new user experience, a one off cost, a friendly and useful forum and most importantly...Moderators and staff who listen and try to act on the various posts. These replies are quick.

Should be enough to get the ball going.
Enjoy

SGen, looks like your file will only work in the Beta version and not the MAS of AD.

Cool!!! Now all we need is for there to be a collection of mouse body-parts scattered around - then it will be a lot more like my cat :P
...buttons, cable, battery and cover all strewn across the living room. Finally the LED was found under the tv stand in a fur ball. The mouse was beyond further use; it was now being double-clicked on the Great Desktop in the sky. :D
This could be the next Stephen King novel.
Nice pic Ben BTW.

Wow. Learn? With that level of skill, you should teach!
The cowboy reminds me of Lee Van Cleef.
If it's any help, we have some forum users who are Spanish, hope that helps.

Hi Macmonkey,
Thanks for that :) Yes, I do plan on making the 'bake corners' button just do the selected ones, rather than all corners (or maybe having it as a modifier-click action?) but I also need a better name than 'bake corners'! ;) I didn't want to use 'Fix corners' because it sounds like they're broken and had a brain-freeze thinking of anything else! So... suggestions welcome! :)
We'll definitely try to get the selection outline hiding behaviour in there - we have the facility to do it (as seen by changing the stroke colour) but have just forgotten to sprinkle the pixie-dust in the appropriate places! I'll get on it later! :)
Thanks,
Matt
HI Matt,
Just downloaded it today. Text on curve: Yes!
As for renaming Bake corners, here are my suggestions:
- Bend corners
- Shave corners
- Shape corners
- Adjust corners
- Crimp corners
Or simply Corner tool.

Hi tvalleau, welcome to the forums
I've just seen some of your photos at your site, the one called Flowerbox is really impressive

There should be plenty of inspiration here, as there are a some great photographers on board.

Completing the trio?

Hi swimhq,
Welcome to the forums.
I use this aide memoire:
AD=Affinity Designer=Vector and Raster: (Illustrator)
APh=Affinity Photo=Photo manipulation: (Photoshop)
APu=Affinity Publisher=Desktop publishing: (In Design/Quark)
This clears up any confusion and is a handy short cut. This copies Adobe's style of naming, which also copies the periodic table abbreviations. As seen in the current US TV series Breaking Bad titles.
