  1. This should answer your question... https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/1689-faqs/ Until then, why not try Serif's Plus range? (They are the people behind Affinity).
  2. Hi, did you use More Reply Options at the bottom of the screen? Then Attach Files? File should be on your computer... or if that doesn't work, More Reply Options, then Image Properties, it's the polaroid icon below the font colour and smiley face. Use this for n image that's out on the web; just cops that image's URL and paste it into the box below the letters URL. HTH peter
  3. Looking forward to more great work like this; as for the for the AD 10 anniversary logo, the job's yours ;) So Keep up the good work and get creative.
  4. It gives a film feel to it rather than a television feel. More texture, more detailed: more please Paolo!
  5. Just as a reference point; here is a genuine frame fromLooney Tunes: Wile E. Coyote & Road Runner: Fast and Furry-ous (September 17, 1949) Not only has Paolo truly captured it (something Wile e Coyote, has never managed :P), he's actually done a better job than the original team. Where was he and AD when Warner Bros were painting on cells? Again, Bravo Paolo! That deserves an Eggy!
  6. Far from an artist?...he's legged it over the horizon and left the others; who are still standing on the start line. Meep Meep!
  7. Love the middle image, if you haven't guessed, BTW :D
  8. Just like Robert McCall's finesse and expertise; the next instalment, is always something to look forward to.
  9. and I want Burgundy paint work with cream leather interior, my good man...The name, McCall-Robert McCall.
  10. Yes! That's the effect I wanted, but couldn't get. You've cracked it. Can you post the step by step instructions?
  11. Just to repeat the above message... GET WELL SOON MIKE. The forum needs you!
  12. Thanks. This is all MattP's doing. This is one of those now I know...tools, that you'll use all the time. My first tutorial and pupil. Yay! ;) Cartoonmike and ronniemcbride would be proud. :D peter
  13. Ronnie: where they your words or your students'? :P :P :P Now that's sarcasm.
  14. Tied in with the next generation of Google Earth and the like, I can't wait.
  15. Thanks Alferic-1, glad you liked it. The method I use is slightly different. Make sure your country outline is a vectored outline Place/copy etc, your chosen flag next to (but not on top) the country ouline Select the flag, by clicking on it Then Edit>Cut the flag, it will now disappear; this is fine Now select the outline, by clicking on it Go to Edit>Paste Inside At this point, you should see an empty blue bounding box: this is fine Drag that bounding box over your outline, the flag will now appear underneath the hole Adjust to fit Although this looks a bit complicated, there is usually more than one way of doing a task in AD. That is fine, you just need to try them and go for the one you feel most confident with. Hope that helps peter
  16. I think I know what you mean. Do want a picture inside a shape like this?
  17. Wow! The line between real life photos and 3D rendering is getting thinner and thinner all the time. Where's rui_mac? This is domain.
  18. Aah, I thought it was Pay up or we'll chase you, to the ends of the Earth :P
  19. Hahaha, who is Chase? (not a firm that's common, over here.) That's more like it. Keep them coming.
  20. Hi swimhq, Welcome to the forums. I use this: AD=Affinity Designer=Vector and Raster: (Illustrator) APh=Affinity Photo=Photo manipulation: (Photoshop) APu=Affinity Publisher=Desktop publishing: (In Design), maybe with some basic web design features - ask the Dev team This clears up any confusion and is a handy short cut. This copies Adobe's style of naming, which also copies the periodic table abbreviations. As seen in the current US TV series Breaking Bad titles. peter
