  1. You've earned it lad! All those years of toil need to be blossoming, in 2021. Well done from me. Ahem! (clears throat), that calls for a silly rhyme... There once was a guy called George Who bagged himself a licensing award "We did it!" It screamed Some critter in green And screamed itself silly and hoarse (...scaring the poor wild haggises, from their deep winter slumber.) And I hope that some of your magic rubs off: so I can win a ChipShop Award in 96 days or so. Thanks for the compliment on the silly poems.
  2. Nice choice of blues, for the ink.
  3. I've finally entered the world of creative advertising, by submitting my entry to The Chip Shop Awards for judging next spring. Not a cheap hobby. Being allowed to create something witty, close to the knuckle and quite apt is something I've wanted to do for a very long time. This is my entry. It is an ointment manufacturer, helping out the seasonal homeless down under, buy their product and they'll donate the proceeds to a charity. Of course it is full of puns, some of you know me well enough by now! Its called How can you sleep when the Bush is burning? Pungent: noun. a bloke with rotten jokes!🤢 The photo is from the web. The packaging was done this Spring in AD. The skewing, backlighting and montage was done in APh. Wish me luck. Peter (The Drum Chip Shop Awards celebrate pure, unadulterated creativity. It's a platform where anything and everything is allowed, an awards show with no rules and no boundaries meaning the possibilities are endless!) The prizes are not glossy statues or metallic masks: they are a resin bottle of vinegar and an oversized chip.
  4. Mind if I take it for a test drive, I'll not speed...honest!😇 They'll need to knock down Serif's neighbours and build a multi-storey car park in order to fit in all these amazing, photo realistic cars.
  5. If that's the Badger, then where are his blood and scars from his famous battles of attrition? Red, black and blue would really do him justice!
  6. Brilliant! Chapeau! Do you do requests? I hope so There is a market for this. Do you know about musicalbrick.com, who has done some amazing Peter Gabriel/Genesis era lego models? These are on sale. Other bands are available. https://www.musicalbrick.com/galleries/ Imagine turning your art into 3d...and seeing the human and the mini figure together.
  7. (whispers) He does, what is the big circle? Seems a shame to wake him up! The red and orange leaves add some needed highlights to the picture.
  8. That'll teach 'im, to order a face mask from Wish.com
  9. ...such tall tales he has to tell!
  10. Great artists need a great script writer, as the two can pull the image of the page and screen, giving it a voice. As I've said in another post in the forum, My Strawberry Monkey would sound great narrated by Lee Evans. So, if you can find a voice that gives the third dimension to a character, then it truly comes alive. Pictures, words and sounds: the holy trinity of animation and cartoons. (Yes, I do know about silent cartoons). Keep on mumbling. peter As for parsnips...challenge accepted. There once was a tray of parsnips That Baldrick had whipped, from his nibs It was a bit mean As his diet was lean That Blackadder gave him, two fat lips.
  11. Stag do by night: stagnant by morning.
  12. I hate getting outta bed early too!
  13. Stunning. I hope his pall bearers dress up in as storm troopers. This should lead the cortege... Only the best for such an icon.
  14. Stan Lee has just died, aged 95.

    RIP

  15. I see what you did there.
  16. Welcome back Craig! You deserve a drink after all that. The ice cubes are a neat touch.
  17. Great work Anderson! As Wosven has mentioned that there are 4 separate elements, I think that they could and should be on individual bottles or cans/tins to show the variety of flavours from the one brand. Now that craft beer has moved in on the real ale market, they need a classy design to stand out from the crowd....Have you shown your work at any beer festivals? Just found this link, hope you like it! http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/hamilton/collective-arts-brewing-art-and-craft-beer-1.3948206 Cheers peter
  18. That Quilting Weekly reference had me in stitches Thanks Garry!
  19. Next week's episode INFINITY AND BREXIT.
