  1. Glad you liked it Craig. I think you know what your style is...Nouveau Art Deco. You're an inspiration. The copy (words) came to me, in a flash. As for the font, that was easy: the thin hollow lines represent the legs and the stroke and fill colours are pulled from the feathers and beach, using the eye dropper tool.
  2. Great Fox! (Starwing reference) Amazing brushwork. We need more dogs in this 'ere forum. UNLEASH THE HOUNDS! I have only one critique, why no whiskers? Otherwise a howling success.
  3. This was is what the picture says to me.... What do you think?
  4. Hi Craig, got the name right this time...oops! Got to admit though, as far as Freudian slips go; this just shows how equally talented the two of you are.
  5. George, great work as usual. You don't need advice. Just go for it. B) Do you like the 1920's and 1930's train/travel posters? As this is on par with them.
  6. Did you miss me? (Christopher Eccleston/Dr Who). If you want me to have an input to your early scripts/draft; I'd be honoured; to be the one of first to review them. Just PM me. I have also noticed the Challenge channel's cartoon characters idents, look very similar to your Eejits. This means that your work is already at the pro standard. You just need deserve that lucky break. :) Thanks for enjoying my PIFS! B)
  7. Beware the hypnotic power of madelas . Hours of your life may disappear :P

Love the messy back ground, very sandy and reminiscent of flat fish. Was that created in AD or APh? This also reminds me of a certain app that used Botticelli's Venus as their ident...hmm! :P
  9. Thanks for the kind words. 'tis nice to receive good feedback from positive criticism. Never knew about the 4 corners rule: another day, another new fact. Good luck with your upcoming app! I'm not a designer either; just a hobbyist and a Serif fan since DrawPlus 2. :D
  10. Chocolate mint ice cream! Love your violin piece; was that made in AD?
  11. There's something about the blue one: the lighthouse and coastline. This would be an excellent label for a real ale. Just Google Adnams Brewery and see what they have on their bottles. You would be able to grace any bottle with your talents. Cheers.
  12. There are some people here, who would spend their hours colouring this in, with their kids. Now that colouring-in-books for adults are hitting the shelves. I think know that you are onto something here. Print it out and see how parents and kids react. This could be the start of something really special.
  13. Careful, this forum is full of puddy cats
  14. Or better still... put the kettle on and phone up the local takeaways for pizza and kebabs. That's the sort of help that will always be welcome down in the creative cauldron called Serif Labs B) B) B)
  15. If it's APu (Publisher) that you're after. Then it's gonna be next winter :(
  16. Great work Isabel. Nice write up on your site. Earlier this year; Lent and the run up to Easter period. I was dishing out hard earned Eggies for artwork that impressed me. Next year the award will be changed to Baubles or Baubies (if you're reading this George!). I can't help feeling that this is the way foward... This is one bubble that won't pop. As said elsewhere in the forums....Where's the tutorial.
  17. I agree that the snooker frames are Affinity. So why not pop a few letters in each icon? BTW, I have mentioned this elsewhere in the forum. Also why not add Beta to Beta app icons? As currently there is no difference to the icons on my dock.
  18. Cycling hurts but afterwards there's coffee and cake! ^_^
  19. This would be a great album cover or t-shirt for Siouxsie Sioux.
  20. The 1st pic would look great on a Mahjong tile. The second not look out of place in a Chinese restaurant as their calendar.
  21. +1 to the above comments. This piece, just begs to grow with its American stable mates: Starsky and Hutch Shaft Quincy Columbo Burnside This list is massive, but so is your potential. Jump to it and pop the blue strobe on the roof B)
