Why not have the first image for DVD artwork and the second for Blu-rays. You'll cover both bases and sleep easier. B) -
Well...I've not seen that book. But I have seen the excellent resource guides produced by the Serif team. This has been mentioned elsewhere in the forum. So to sum it up; come on guys, change tack and give us something to thumb through. As having the help topics beside the screen on the desk, is much more productive and enjoyable than screen sharing Affinity and the help files. ;) (Affinity and the help files, weren't they at Glastonbury this year?)

Hi Callum, just looked up the TV series on IMDB.com; as I have no knowledge of this character. Although it did remind me of Nile Rogers.... Meet the most beloved sitcom horse of the '90s - 20 years later. BoJack Horseman was the star of the hit TV show "Horsin' Around," but today he's washed up, living in Hollywood, complaining about everything, and wearing colourful sweaters. Sounds a little like what David Hasselhoff is doing over here in England on the TV channel Dave.

Affinity Publisher
peter replied to WalterM's topic in Pre-V2 Archive of Affinity on Desktop Questions (macOS and Windows)
Sounds like a competition: rename Affinity Publisher. Some suggestions from me...(although I do like Affinitiy Layout/AL) Affinity Bureau (AB) Affinity Output (AO) Affinity Pica (APi) Affinity Press (APr) Affinity Proof (APr) Affinity Pasteboard (APa) Affinity Quarto (AQ) Affinity Resolution (AR) All comments welcome. -
Hi Pomme27 Two simple tricks. When you select the colour for your sand, the fill box has a slider bar underneath (option box, slider bar, top left corner of screen). Adjust this for noise/grain. Duplicate your beach; then, with the copy on the top layer, adjust the sand by using the transparency (wine glass, left tool bar) and opacity (option box in Layers tab, right side of screen). Adjust this for blending/shading/borders. HTH B) peter

Wow! Cracking work. A contact sheet, brilliant idea we should all do that :D As for Lynx; it is also know as AXE in other countries... The full write up is here, it should explain things a bit more clearly http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2054220/South-Africa-bans-Lynx-deodorant-advert-showing-angels-falling-heaven--offends-Christians.html Some screen shots from that ad campaign.

Where's the bit of broken eggshell? :P It is good, though. Was your yolk quite dark? -
Which is more than can said for the cast of TOWIE, Geordie Shore, Made in Chelsea etc.

You're welcome, Bodobe.

You should look at Craig's (denironaut) topic Big eyed yellow thing. it's his avatar and you can see, how well it went down with the others. Why not print a few of these in various sizes, cut them out and place them in situ? Only then, when artwork leaves the screen, does it truly come into its own.

The sticker look is great. Stick with it! This has been discussed before in the forums. I would feel inclined to choose the eye on the right. As it looks like an egg as it sits on the feet of the penguin. Did you know that if the penguin looks up to the sky, it will look like Flash Gordon's space ship?

Thanks Craig. Checkout Pinterest. Tons of goodies there; enough to keep ya busy. Say Hello to new ideas and Good bye to getting an early night :P

Best techniques for blending colors(shadows)?
peter replied to noname's topic in [ARCHIVE] Photo beta on macOS threads
Hi noname, Welcome to the forums. The best person would be MEB, as he is great at drawing Lambos! He has loads of help and advice to offer. As for brushes...Paolo Limonelli. King of brushes, he is! You should see his Road Runner backdrop: jaw dropping would be a good description! https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/user/2042-paololimoncelli/ Don't forget to visit the road map to see what's coming next. https://affinity.ser...opic/1689-faqs/ As for the various tutorials, MEB has kindly posted these links here http://www.miguelboto.com/affinity/ Should be enough to get the ball going. Enjoy Affinity peter -
 It went thattaway  Look forward to seeing it. Just as a side note I used know a guy from college in 1996, who would draw on A3/2 paper. These pictures were more like technical drawings, of what looked like brick walls. Think Minecraft, think Micro Lego, (Think about bed! That's what he forgot to do). The dimensions of each 'brick' would be the size of a grain of rice. Each brick was coloured-in with a different colour. All this was done on cartridge paper and 1mm tipped pens. Probably, Rotring or one of the other German pen brands. From what I saw it was amazing, only 1% was coloured-in. I never did get to see the finished article though :(. Shame. However, he did tell me that he started to lose hours, then days just laying the black lines. He would have loved AD...

peter replied to Yannik's topic in Share your work
Hi Yannik, Who does this logo represent? Is it a real company or are you just exploring AD and testing the waters? My initial thoughts were of a double glazing firm called BD. As the large shape (D) represents the window frame and the smaller unit looks like a twin-paned window, waited to be fitted.
